Carpe Diem
that could be used on a brochure. The brochure would be for a fund raising event for an agency that helps support women dealing with unexpected pregnancy. I'm sure the bible has many. Isn't there one about knowing/loving us while we were still in the womb? Thanks!

Daisy
Psalm 139:13-16 For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them. Angie in VA
Psalm 139 (all of it) but especially: 13 For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. 14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. 15 My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, 16 your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be. Heather in Neverland
I saw on another woman's blog: There are no unwanted babies, Only un-found parents." Then she had the word ABORTION wih the B and the R crossed out and a D and P replacing it to spell ADOPTION. As a mother of two adopted children, I really liked it! Sandy in Indy
Abortion is advocated only by persons who have themselves been born. –Ronald Reagan It is a poverty to decide that a child must die so that you may live as you wish. -Mother Teresa These may not be what you are looking for...but they are two of my favorite abortion-related quotes. HSMom2One
"The care of human life and happiness and not their destruction is the first and only legitimate object of good government." ~ Thomas Jefferson Susan B. Anthony (1889), abolitionist and early leader of the women's suffrage movement, opposed abortion, saying: "Sweeter even than to have had the joy of caring for children of my own has it been to me to help bring about a better state of things for mothers generally, so their unborn little ones could not be willed away from them." "The greatest destroyer of love and peace is abortion, which is war against the child. The mother doesn't learn to love, but kills to solve her own problems. Any country that accepts abortion is not teaching its people to love, but to use any violence to get what they want." ~ Mother Teresa In 1964, a Planned Parenthood brochure said, "An abortion kills the life of a baby after it has begun." "Don't force your beliefs on me." ~ Unborn baby. And my current favorite bumper sticker, "Choose life -- your mom did!"
