Teachin'Mine
:D:D:D Happy St. Patrick's Day!!! :D:D:D An Irish Blessing May the road rise to meet you, May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face, The rains fall soft upon your fields. And until we meet again, May God hold you in the palm of his hand. May God be with you and bless you: May you see your children's children. May you be poor in misfortune, Rich in blessings. May you know nothing but happiness From this day forward. May the road rise up to meet you May the wind be always at your back May the warm rays of sun fall upon your home And may the hand of a friend always be near. May green be the grass you walk on, May blue be the skies above you, May pure be the joys that surround you, May true be the hearts that love you. lauracolumbus
Okay, sharing this recipe here too ;) Wow, a Bailey's cupcake recipe!!!! Too bad I can't bake (and that we gave up sweets for Lent). We just got home from Girl Scouts where they made a bunch of St. Patrick's day crafts and drank green milk w/green rice krispie treats. Erin go bragh! Thanks for sharing, Laura

Medieval Mom
Happy St. Patrick's! We're proud of our Irish heritage here! We've been feasting on stout Irish foods all day, while listening to The Chieftains. :D Here's to peace on the Emerald Isle!
AndyJoy
I just bought Bailey's Irish Cream to make those cupcakes, but I'm just going to use chocolate cake instead of making the ones with Guinness Stout. Yum! I'm going to watch "The War of the Buttons" tonight and am currently listening to Palouse Irish by the northern Idaho Irish band Potatoheads. Laurie
Happy St. Patrick's Day! We had leftover pizza for lunch but the corned beef is in the oven baking in beer for dinner! :cheers2: We went to an Irish festival over the weekend. It was so fun to see the children dancing. The girls looked so cute with their tight curls bouncing as they danced!

I thought the gamache was incredible (in mine), but between that, the icing and the cupcakes there was too much of an alcohol taste (go figure ).
