  1. Dh give me weekly massages but when things are really bad I do get out for a "real" massage, probably every 6-9 months. I wish I could afford it more frequently. The cherry juice needs to come from the freezer section, not shelf stable, I've learned. I order it and it arrives frozen, packed in ice. Montemorency cherry juice. Takes about a month to notice it working.
  2. Wow! The baby started croupy coughing last night and I was so discouraged thinking about a sleepless night. Ugh. My mom told me about this last month and I thought, "What have I got to loose?" 20 minutes later the baby stopped coughing. :D It worked. I wish I'd have known about this 11 years ago. http://www.busymom.net/archives/003714.html
  3. :iagree:just weed stuff out as it comes through the wash and put it away til summer. Arguements resolved quietly.
  4. I emptied the shredder bin into my composter. At least I KNOW beyond a shadow of doubt those documents are secure. :D there weren't any staples or plastics.
  5. :bigear: I didn't know either. Although I pushed something and it started talking to me late one night. :D
  6. Enbrel, tart cherry juice, celebrex, professional massages, hot baths, and not allow myself to get chilled. :grouphug:
  7. All that dental work. . . . and I complain about getting the seven of us through each year. Ugh. Do they schedule more than two of you at time?
  8. I made a list for my knitting projects. :) 1. Finish Mason Dixon Flying Geese Afghan. Ugh. Just chugging on this one to get it done. 2. Finish Mason Dixon Daily Sweater. It's for me, but I'm intimidated! I started and got stuck on the chart. 3. Start & Finish Mason Dixon SK8R Sweater. I bought the yarn for this a while back and it just needs to be started! Maybe Christmas gifts for my boys next year.
  9. I cut them off, sew on lace/cute edging for the girls or just a straight seam for the boys, and, "Voila!" Shorts for the summer season. :) I save the cut off leg parts and make quilt squares for my denim quilt someday. My mom made one of these quilts from grandpa's old overhauls and I love it. After the quilt I'll cut that part into strips and knit a rug.
  10. Mac 'n Mold, that's what my punks call it. :D
  11. do you spin wool too? I'm on a waiting list for a French Angora bunny this spring. I want to spin and I want to try spinning cotton (one son is allergic to wool). So I'll have to spin wool outdoors in the spring and later fall to keep it from bothering him, hence the cotton. I'm a spinner wanna be. I figure it counts as exercise too.
  12. Mirror image identical twins are monomono, shared placenta, sac, and egg. My one sis was 3lbs and her twin was 8 lbs because the bigger twin was choking her with her cord. I wonder if these twins are mirror or mirror image. My mom didn't know she was having twins until two weeks before delivery.
  13. :) And now you know the whole family clan. :) I'm sure we're probably cousins somewhere on the family tree. My family's been there for generations.
  14. http://www.winonadailynews.com/news/local/77ca3b32-1f9f-11e0-9350-001cc4c03286.html It's in the 2nd text box under the picture. My sister overheard the news reporters and doctor's speculating about when/if any mirror image twins had ever been born at the hospital and she said, "Yup, 40 years ago!" She's a labor and delivery nurse there, but she didn't help with that particular delivery.

  16. fortunately I could say, "We're trying to empty out the refrigerator cuz we're moving." :auto:
  17. We're negotiating renting a farm and the rent includes feeding 4 horses, a coop of chickens, all the barnyard cats, AND old-going-to-live-here-til-he-dies farm dog. The hay & feed is provided for the horses. We can't get there fast enough!
  18. Is that 3200 for the year or month? :D If it's for the year then I'd be happy with the total.
  19. I usually empty out my compost bin on the garden this time of year and clean out the bunny cages over the frozen garden - spread evenly and lay over plastic covering (secure with heavy rocks) and wait for spring. The plastic is to keep the weeds from getting a head start in the spring. :) And order your seeds. :) Of course, I usually wait for a warmer January (or February) day.
  20. And how do you plan for the unexpected teen wanna be children eating key ingredients for the meals that have been planned and shopped and pay day is 10 days away? For meal planning I rely on others -- I use these cookbooks that tell me what to cook, how to cook and what to buy for each week. I can still have flexibility by cooking which ever meal on when I feel like it, but I don't shop until after all the meals planned for are used. :D There isn't enough energy in my day to do it all. :D
