    Kumon is a good program for what it is (daily math drill). You might consider a trial with ALEKS which can be done at home first, and is far less expensive?

    Living overseas as a kid, I feel that the biggest lesson I learned is that people are people no matter where you go. Each culture has its good and bad points and each society has good kind people and then not so good, not so kind, even downright bad people.

    Rules are the beginning of spelling but not always the end. My youngest made most of her errors by over applying spelling rules and needed to let go and work on the exceptions.:)

    The college bookstore may end up being the best bet. We looked all over for back packs before my son went away, unsuccessfully! He found a great one when buying his textbooks.

    My son took Calculus, Chemistry and Writing.

    In our school district - gov't is 1/2 credit unless it is AP.

    We tried it many years ago. The program is okay.

    Our school district covers matrices as part of Honors Alg II but not regular track Alg II.

    To give someone positive rep you just click on the little scale at the top right hand corner of the post. You can also click on the persons name at the top of the post to see other posts by that person in order to give rep to previous post. Though the board will only allow you to give so much rep to any one person in a short time frame.

    Caulk sounds like a good option and would be much easier to apply.

    Great advice - it has been awhile so I sometimes forget - but that is something that I also tried to do. Makes meals more pleasant for all!

    You are energetic! I find that I am too lazy to make them work all summer but we do math occasionally so that they don't get too rusty.
