    :iagree::iagree: I nursed my Autistic son until he was several months into his 5th year because with his sensory issues he just wouldn't eat hardly anything and would only drink apple juice and breast milk. I never intended to nurse that long, but life throws you curve balls and you have to roll with it and I thought it was the best thing to do for my child's health. He eventually weaned himself. I would hate it if people held me up for ridicule for trying to do the best I could for my son because I nursed him for longer than the norm. And no, he never latched on standing on a chair! :glare: I know right! Sheesh! I think they are trying to be shocking and sensationalistic which doesn't really help build a bridge of understanding to people like me who already are considered weird for nursing longer than the norm.

    Oh sounds perfect for what I'm looking for. How is the format if I can ask? Is it like a PS textbook or is the layout different? I'd really like something for dd that gets into the stories and not be all "just the facts", kwim? History is so fascinating when it's taught well, but when it's not it can be so boring. I want something that she will find exciting to read and want to learn about. Thanks :)

    Yay! You'll be hearing your baby's heartbeat soon! :) :grouphug::grouphug: Play lots of soothing music and take nice soothing baths with lit candles so you can be tension free and calm and baby will be happy too. :)

    :lol: :lol: I was thinking it was going to a Featherweight one. lol To OP aren't those old Singers the best? I picked one up a few years back at the Salvation Army thrift store for 30 bucks and it runs like a dream! Solid as a tank! It's like the one my mom had when she got married to my father. :) This is mine.

    I know there are places you can take it to get the scratches buffed out. I know that Game Stop does it for game cd's (not sure if they can do a full sized cd or not though). For me, I always make a backup in the computer of things because I KNOW my son is going to destroy them.
