  1. My dd has used TT Alg. 2 and Geometry. Her SAT math score allowed her to take College Algebra at our cc. Math is not her strongest subject and the class was online, which added to the difficulty for her. Evenso, she made an A in her College Alg. class. Her cc teacher must have been impressed with her work. He wrote her a very nice email at the end of the semester congratulating her on how well she had done in his class.
  2. Yes, you can develop hypothyroidism at any time. Also, the levels considered normal have changed. Here's a link about the new norms. http://thyroid.about.com/cs/testsforthyroid/a/labs2003.htm
  3. On these boards I have to use linear. I can't get threaded to work here. The top box extends way, way over to the right with the scroll bar out of sight. It's very annoying to use so I just stick with linear. It does make it difficult to tell who is being replied to.
  4. Jacob's Algebra, Teaching Textbooks Geometry followed by their Algebra II, Survey of Math at our community college, and College Algebra at the cc, she'll start Precalculus with Trig next semester at cc. No, she doesn't like Math.
  5. Buy them Carcassonne, it can be played with 2 players and is a big hit here.
  6. I should have already made a decision and purchase by now. I was going to go with BJU since dd used BJU Eco. and liked it last semester. Is there anything else that you would recommend?
  7. I have recorded final grades for 9th-11th grade. Dd is in 12th grade this year and a couple of colleges asked for mid-term grades. A few of her courses were finished at the mid-term and were recorded as final grades.
  8. Some people (not me) use a spoon to prevent sore fingers. You can goolge using a spoon in quilting for more info.
  9. Can you find another cabinet maker to finish the job? Otherwise, I think I would plan to paint the odd cabinet since the stain won't match.
  10. I've always heard that peanut oil was best for high temp frying.
  11. I agree with this. I'll pray for Dan and his girls.
  12. I don't believe China sells any cars in the US. Hyundai is a product of South Korea. I would think that most, if not all, of the Japanese cars sold in this country are made in this country as well. I don't know if Hyundai has automotive plants within the US or not.
  13. I think you should have it checked out before your Jan. appointment. Cysts aren't usually hard, are they? I have fibrocystic breasts and can not feel the cysts, just the pain and achiness they cause. It could be an inflamed lymphnode.
