  1. PTL for the wonderful news so far. Just prayed for recovery.
  2. Congratulations, she's lovely!
  3. Tomorrow morning? You are much more patient than I am. The suspense is killing me!
  4. I sort by person, combining youngest DS with my stuff (put away very close together and easy to tell apart). Actually I don't sort, because if DH doesn't interfere, people's clothes are separated from start to finish. The olders can do their own now, but it wouldn't work if they had a shared hamper.
  5. I am a wee bit dressier, and wouldn't wear them to any of those places. The wide acceptance is that I'm not going to condemn anyone else for their yoga pant line.
  6. I have and love these: https://www.amazon.com/Patagonia-Womens-Lugano-Waterproof-Boot/dp/B004O6N04E Mine are grey with black trim. They're so comfortable that I miss them in summer time. I've had them for something like five years and they wear like iron.
  7. I'm so glad that DD will have the MRI. You must be exhausted after dealing with the obnoxious residents on top of all the worry and stress you already have!
  8. In a related thought, I think bans of yoga pants have more to do with hating females than hating children. We can't have our boys distracted by yoga pants!
  9. Any combination of Tibbie, LucyStoner, and Farrar.
  10. Sorry for asking a question that you already answered, I don't know how I missed your post!
  11. Yes, I'm curious about this as well. I was really focused on the masses of clean laundry not *finished*, so I didn't pay so much attention to the machine procedure. I switch loads immediately and am curious about why it's an issue?
  12. Ugh! I suppose they have to,ask some questions, but several doctors wanted to pin a psychiatric diagnosis on our niece before she was finally diagnosed with Superior Mesenteric Artery Syndrome.
  13. Oh, I'm so sorry to hear this! I just prayed for healing and comfort.
  14. My DH does the same thing, and MORE. He comingles everything and when he takes the clean laundry out, he frequently dumps it on the floor (somewhere, anywhere, everywhere in the house) for folding, and then walks away to do something else. Clean laundry doesn't belong on the floor. DH has many fine qualities, but laundry style is not among them. I hate it when he "helps" with the laundry.
  15. I voted for Adalia because I think it's gorgeous and I love family names. I think it would be very lovely combined with Sophia. Sophia is a family name for us and was high on our girl list when I was pregnant with DS2. Several posters have remarked that a #1 name just isn't the same today as it once was, and they're right. Here are the numbers: Year #1 name # of babies with name 1976. Jennifer. 59,478 1986. Jessica. 52,667 1996. Emily. 25,150 2006. Emily. 21,393 2015. Emma. 20,355
  16. Very glad to hear she's being admitted. Sending all best wishes for relief and answers.
  17. My hometown is the epicenter of organics and fitness (I believe we are in the same metro area). Athletic and Athleisure are acceptable nearly everywhere, and definitely predominate in preschool circles and sports mom circles. I like to dress up a bit more, but like LucyStoner, if I'm sick or something, you will find me in yoga pants. I don't really notice what other people are wearing, unless it's something I admire or it's indicative of a need for help.
  18. We had a very similar situation with a Nook a few years ago, and I handled it just the way you are leaning. No regrets.
  19. I love them, especially the very simple old fashioned sort, and don't see them as a gift grab at all.
  20. You are an awesome mom. I'm so sorry for all of this suffering.
