  1. Good to plan, but life throws you curveballs, like losing all college funds in stocks. So, reminder to go w/the flow, plus child may not want to go to a Christian College. My fav college that is close, my second dd refuses to go to.
  2. Tell me your fav or even wacky crazy flavors you love but are hard to find. Or what you would love to try or wish your local ice cream store had.
  3. This is what I was trying to say, plus there are a ton of disability lawyers here in PA, so after first denial you have 60 day to get atty and refile. Its easy.
  4. Hey you, first of all i would try the disability, it does not mean you are lazy. But it will help you w/the bills, and maybe they will bring down the balance b/c you are disabled. Disabled means you cant work sometimes. What if you do take a job and then you feel like carp, thats what I have been running into, one day I have energy , the next I am down. So hard to commit. But, jobs are few and far between in the city, I still am just walking dogs and it does not help w/the bills. I am actively searcing and nothing, although I dont have a stinkin resume. that cuts out a lot of potentials. If you dont want to go disability route, what about a Special Ed. Advocate, lots of Special Ed lawyers need help, you dont need a certificate. brush up on Special ed laws in pa. This job is very rewarding.
  5. The best book to buy is through wrightslaw.com, they will take about scores and the whole process, of testing and IEPs etc... Worth the money.
  6. My dn's was abuot 700 in San Diego, but it was worth a dx. Make sure that is their specialty and perhaps get references.
  7. Weird, why wouldnt they tell their own son. Freaky:glare:
  8. I vote for K12 to start where you are. I have a k12 grad, so it is a good program. My other vote is for Veritas Press, but I dont know how young they start.
  9. Could he be the one, I am thinking yes, he reminds me of someone , but I cannot pinpoint it.
  10. Praying for you , we prayed in December my dh would get his job and he did. Keep believing.
  11. I second Catalina, it is a great 3-4 day trip.
  12. Recommendations and if I go, cleanliness of salon.
  13. Sounded a lil fishy, although I cant bash Apex, they are good in a pinch.
  14. I am rolling, first of all what does qualified bee keeper even mean???? What is w/the licking, I cannot remember a time I have been licked in public???? The tears are rolling.
  15. stranger standing next to you in grocery store, or visiting your doctor w/o long stay in waiting room?????
  16. No, b/c we had good homecooked meals, and I was sick a lot and sick a lot now. So no connection.
  17. The most rigorous is Veritas Press, The second is K12/int.com or K12 international. It used to use apex, and matter of fact still does, but does not like to admit it. I like it better than apex b/c of their extracurricular and teachers are much better Laurel Springs is rigorous. We have only done one class and no teacher interaction, although may be more if you are full time. Cost comp is most exp. K12, than Apex, than VP.
