I don't post here much anymore BUT have followed the recovery of your dear parents. I am SO VERY SORRY for this to have happened after all you all went through these past few months. Your mom sounded like a really great lady and quite a fighter! What a poignant way to pass: resting in the comfort of the Lord. You can also rent electric bikes to ride around the island. I agree, it is a super cool place to visit. Park City is easy to get to and worth a trip out to see.

I admit to being a bit defensive right now. I apologize for taking that out on you. But the comment hit me as odd. Also, I appreciate Bagels and am sad that she feels the need to leave the board. Her voice is important and valuable...one that I think is much needed on this board. We ask the best be assumed about us, but if we all actually did that, then she wouldn't have felt attacked and have pages and pages of people dissecting a tiny word she said...especially when there are people who say very vitriolic things sometimes and no one bats an eye.

Sure, laugh at me. But you see, Dot, this isn't the first time you wished people to hell who disagreed with you. It's hard to hear what you have to say when you fling such vitriol to people with whom you disagree.

Again, this poor man was murdered! FULL STOP and it should NOT have happened! That's what wrong with this board and why so many just choose not to engage: someone references a person who presents a vastly, unapologetically different point of view than what you deem right and you wish them to HELL and call her story garbage.
