We school four days a week. Dh is off on Thursdays at this time, possibly Fridays starting in the fall. So, we don't have scheduled days when he is home. He is a minister, and so Sundays are not days off for him. With that said, I then decide when I would like to be done, and figure out 180 - 190 days back from that, using my 4 day schedule. I sometimes do 190 days in order to figure in those unexpected teacher workdays that may come up! :001_smile:

(((Mara))) Oh, sweetie, I am so sorry you are feeling this way. Is this something you can talk with your dh about? I am not sure of your situation, but my heart goes out to you. I agree with the others about talking with a friend, and it certainly sounds as if you could use a little down time. Please talk with someone. And know that lots of us here will be praying for you.

I just planted my basil this weekend, and the lady I bought the plants from said not to take any leaves off for the first two weeks. I had never heard this before, and thought I would pass it along! Enjoy! I love, love, LOVE basil. Try this - spread a little olive oil on sliced bread (french, italian), and toast this lightly. Take out of the oven and top with a tomato slice, slice of mozzerella cheese, and a basil leaf. Our family loves this snack, event the picky eater! :D

When the board format changed, it was winter. But not a cold winter...we haven't had a really cold winter in years...since I bought my kids a sled, in fact. When I started visiting this board, there were several Michelles, some in "NC" or other states. A couple of times, in the old format, while learning my way, I would realize that someone else had the same id as me. I could never keep it straight who I was supposed to sign as, so I finally put Just Me, and it worked for me! :001_smile: On other boards, I am msdunny. I call my dh "dunny", a nickname of our last name, and I am msdunny. I am thinking of asking for a name-change here, but just haven't gotten around to it! :toetap05: Oh, and HI!! Nice to meet 'cha!

Amy, Thanks so much for clearing this up for me. I thought you were saying that the family wished they hadn't had so many children. I am so glad to know I was wrong. As for the dad's QF beliefs and running for office, I meant that I don't think that he made a big deal of it in the election, although would defend it if asked. Kind of like Mike Huckabee in my mind. Well, they had a lot of children before the first show aired. But I do wonder how in the world they manage financially. I think he works for his dad as a used car salesman? Did I hear that correctly?

Most of my spelling difficulties are words that "defy the rules". Examples include: Isaiah Israel piece I always type them wrong first, and then am able to correct it once I see it. But I can't "see" it in my head.

I agree - I am not sure why the delay in letting folks know this? does this affect free-filers? I am not sure, but I do hope your dh gets some answers!
