  1. :iagree: You can find Super Star Speech materials at Currclick and I believe also at Amazon.
  2. I do the important stuff first thing in the morning (phonics, math, writing). I also try to do FIAR and science before lunch. During the afternoon we do our fun subjects like art, spanish, c-rods. The focus level goes way down after lunch.
  3. I was just reading about this! We are doing RightStart B right now and I am thinking ahead... Check out the "when to stop rightstart" tag at the bottom.
  4. We are doing RightStart as our main curriculum in the morning, and then Miquon for fun in the afternoon. I am also a box checker and need to get things done, so I don't think I would be able to handle doing 3 different curriculum at a time.
  5. My kids both love Salsa Spanish and ask for it most days.
  6. I believe the 3 hours/day was in the younger trades. They schooled in the afternoon as well later.
  7. Her dad disagreed that they needed to accelerate so much. She says he pointed out the only job you can get at 16 is working at McDonald's so he thought it would be better for them to finish at 18 or 19, but the mother overruled him.
  8. I meant right, sorry. There should be q button that says options and it's under there.
  9. Try this: Login to Amazon and under My Account find Manage Your Kindle. Your books should be listed there. To the left, click Download & Transfer via USB. That should put the file on your computer where you can find it! HTH.
  10. My parents have a Polaris that has lasted since they moved into that house 12 years ago. I'm not sure how long it was around before we moved in.
  11. Off to read the reviews. ETA: I agree the cover is probably the one negative about the book, but not for that reason!
  12. Yeah, I'm not sure what you would do with a master's degree at sixteen...but sounds like an interesting read. And yes, the photo is awful. :001_huh:
  13. DH has this problem too. He has a common 3-syllable name that everyone wants to shorten to one syllable. I know it drove his parents nuts as well.
