  1. Our church has envelopes and a spot to put either the envelops or written prayer requests near the doors as you exit. I never pay any attention to whether other people are putting stuff in the slot or not. It's very discrete IMO.
  2. is part of a playlist of ALL the HH Awful Eqyptians clips. :D My kids love that song.
  3. I'm sure there is/will be plenty of asynchrocy to make up for the too adultlikeness. (Crap, can't spell the word right....)

  5. Here's my blog post on 7 Tips for Easier Chicken Mummification. I should add #8: Don't get pregnant in the middle of the project! Because I couldn't keep up with it, I was so sick, and had to throw it out. :(
  6. HOOKA! :smilielol5: :smilielol5: :smilielol5: I can help with the timeline here! So, Robin Hood stole the wand from Rumple to heal his pregnant wife when Belle was with Rumple in the castle. When Belle is with Rumple, Regina is already the EVIL, powerful, in charge queen who is his enemy. So that happened quite a bit after when she was led to Robin Hood by Tinkerbelle. So conceivably, RH hadn't even met his wife yet when he was in that tavern. I remember at the very begining of season 2 someone on the Hive suggesting a thing between Mulan and Aurora.
  7. Sounds like they don't have very good number sense & place value sense. Dreambox is really good for those areas. I'd sign them up for the free trial for two weeks doing no other math and see how they do and if it's something you'd like to continue with them.
  8. :iagree: :001_wub: That movie is on my "If you could only watch 5 movies for the rest of your life" list.

  10. For those interested, I really like Spinners by Donna Jo Napoli. It tells the classic story of Rumpelstiltskin from his perspective and it's really good.
  11. If you've got issues then a lot of us do. :D
  12. Does the Colin Firth Pride and Prejudice count as a movie? Because that's really good and close to the book.
  13. The first HOT guy to show up on that show. Charming is meh and Rumple is strangely attractive but Hook is HOT.
  14. My brother once made a flame thrower with a large water gun filled with a flammable liquid and a stick tied to the gun holding flaming rubber cement on the tip ahead of where the squirt came out. Sadly this was before the days of digital cameras and we have no video evidence either. After watching a Masterchef episode ds6 requested to make his own cheesecake for his birthday cake. His birthday is coming up in November and he still wants to do it. I found an easy Bisquick recipe for him to do with minimal assistance from me. (He and his 4 year old brother already know that they love cheesecake.) My kids don't know that they're supposed to want specific presents. No tv here, just Netflix, so they don't see the adds. Not a lot of trips down the toy aisles and not many friends telling them to ask for things and I give ideas to family members asking. He was asked over the phone what he wanted for his birthday and he told them he was going to get to make a cheesecake. :) I'll show them something and ask if they would like something like it sometime and they usually say "yes" and that's that.
  15. Read Ella Enchanted!! It was one of my favorite books when I was 12-14. I've re-read it so many times at one time I probably could have told the whole story to you. I knew the movie wasn't going to look like the book in my head but I had no idea it was going to be THAT awful. They kept the NAMES of most of the characters, the concept of her curse, and that's it. :shudder: It's awful even if it had never been based on a book. And sadly, no one is ever going to re-make it right. I find I do better with books turned into movies if I see the movie first. I'm a book purist (I refuse to see the new P&P) and I'm just miserable otherwise. I saw the movie Beastly before ever reading the book. If I had read the book first I would have been very annoyed. They completely changed the beast's appearance for one thing. But having seen the movie first I'm okay with the creative changes they made.
  16. That is so awesome! We did a pretend dig in our sandbox last year, but nothing so official and authentic!
  17. I LOVE his voice! :001_wub: And his real accent, too! I heard him talking in a group interview a year ago and I LOVE the Scottish accent!
