  2. The prices on those are pretty good on Scholastic Book Club. The selection is not extensive though. You can a 5 book bundle for $28 and it includes Oceans, Chemistry, Physics, Periodic Table and Rocks & Minerals. There's another 3 book bundle for $17. Some singles for $5.99-$7.99. You can sign up as a homeschool.
  3. Thanks for the reminder! I was able to place an order with coupons that were ending tonight.
  4. Thanks, I'll look for them at Costco. I've looked on Ebay as well but am a bit disappointed when it says Very good conditon and under the description--there is writing? Found one site after quite a bit of searching. BMI Online. The site has Magic Tree House, Magic School Bus and more by collections. Prices seem competitive with Amazon. It seems good but I will find myself with duplicates for some of the collections. Site sells books individually as well with 20% off retail. 5. Is there such a place? I thought I had seen something like it before. There would be complete series bundle such as Jean Fritz, Nate the Grreat, etcetera but I've been googling again and I haven't had any luck with finding it again or anything else that is similar.
  6. It's well camouflaged if it's anything like the 2280DW. The tray is at the bottom and you slide/pull it out from the front.
  7. Costco. They have both the Brother and Innovera (generic).
  8. http://www.amazon.co...ds=brother 2270 Brother HL2270DW $78. Saw this recommended on many threads for those seeking a printer replacement. Does monochrome duplex printing and is very compact. I went ahead and bought the Brother HL2280DW at Staples for $99 shipped. Has flat-bed scanner.
  9. I think you have a wonderful idea. Legoland, CA http://california.le...me_school_days/ 2013: Jan 7 - Mar 11, Apr 15 - May 20(Mondays only)

  13. I made the mistake of having open shelves. I will not be doing it again. It is a pain with the dust and grease.
  14. Great tip! I will look into doing that this weekend.
  15. Not what you want to hear but I believe it has tripled for us with a family of five and I am still trying to wean the kids from the grain products.
  16. MaggieAnnie, I also want to thank you for Calibre. It is absolutely wonderful. I completed the organizing of over a thousand books in a weekend and know exactly where all my pdf files and ebooks are--whether they are on the kindle, epub or pdf format. I'm considering setting up a library for my scanned personal docs as well as one for recipes. My life is now organized....in the pdf arena. =)
  17. The Butterfly Pavilion in Denver is fun. I know you asked about Denver, but if you're ever south... there's the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, the Bug Museum, Happy Apple Farm and Garden of the Gods.
  18. Right now with just young kids, I pick one shampoo bottle and one bar of soap and a facial cleanser. Towels are on an Ikea Grundtal 4 bars towel holder. The kids do pull down on the bars though when they get the towels. http://www.marthastewart.com/272549/install-a-toiletry-shelf This over the door shelf is pretty easy to install. Two brackets and a board. My absolute favorite is below---toothbrush holders. So simple yet they keep the toothbrushes hygienic. I use the 3M command tape instead of the tape that comes with them. They are mounted on the back side of the mirror cabinet door. http://www.amazon.com/Hang-Away-Universal-Toothbrush-Holder/dp/B003YIEE52/ref=lp_13749821_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1358810967&sr=1-4
