  1. Not sure why links are so odd looking but they should work.
  2. Both currently free. GeoMaster Plus (ipad) https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/geomaster-plus-hd/id464061812?mt=8 GeoMaster (iphone) https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/geomaster/id331747091?mt=8 Between these and Carmen Sandiego videos, the kids are picking up the states, cities, countries fast! Fixed links.

  4. Jen, I'm not too familiar with the various BrainPOP options. I just signed up yesterday for the Family Combo with the discount and am able to use it on my laptop and iPad. I don't see the advantage to the homeschool multi-user option either.
  5. reign, it works with the single yearly plan as well. BrainPOP - $99-$19.20=$79.20 BrainPOP Jr - $85-$17=$68
  6. Bethany, I did a quick google search and someone said... The main difference is that the Homeschool subscription allows up to 3 students to log-in at the same time, allows each child his/her own log-in so that their scores on the quiz's and other stuff can be kept seperate from those of the other children. So, if you have more than one child, AND they will be getting onto the site at the same time watching different videos, and/or you want to keep their quiz results separate, then the Homeschool option is probably the right one. However, if you only have one child, or your children won't be on the site at the same time, or if you don't care about the quiz results being kept separately on the site, then the Family/Home option is probably better, because it costs less. Hope that helps.
  7. Coffeemama, you could do a trial subscription. It's only a few days but that will give you an idea of what's available. Link to trial https://secure.brain.../step1/ Link to topics covered http://www.brainpop.com/topics_simple/
  8. Forgot to add that it's for the home plan...not for the homeschool one. Works for only yearly subscription. Family Combo is $140 (down from $175).

  12. Very positive experience here without problems as well.
  13. The link is to a timeline maker for the iPad by Knowledge Quest. It's 6.99, so rather expensive in my view. No affiliation with company etcetera. https://itunes.apple.com/app/timelinebuilder/id572520921 It's convenient as I've tried doing the timeline multiple times and have failed. Thought this might help someone.
  14. Ours is working. Both my 2nd & 4th graders are using it. They like the paid online version more. 4th grader did the workbook with the free stuff online last year. They do breeze through the lessons. Feedback is immediate versus waiting for me to correct. I have a lot going on with teaching a K-er to read and other subjects that are one on one such as FLL, WWE, SOTW, etc. With the paid online, it's one less thing to correct.
  15. You might like Menu Planner for meal planning. It has options for menu planning, recipes, pantry inventory, shopping lists. https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/menu-planner/id304945491
  16. Kohls has a really good deal on it right now. It's $299.99 to buy one and the second one is a dollar. Use the 30% off (expires 7/22) online would make it $210 plus tax. You would also get $10 for every $50 (expires today 7/18) spent, so essentially it would be $40 back. That makes it two for $160 plus taxes. Hope that helps. http://www.kohls.com/kohlsStore/furniture/by_type/desks/contemporary/PRD~845312/Julian+FoldOut+Convertible+Desk.jsp
  17. I don't know how long the price is good for but I had paid the $14.99 last month and I just thought this is an awesome deal for those who don't have it yet.
  18. Thank you! FYI Starwalk app is on sale as well (unable to link, sorry)
  19. iPad app normally 29.99, 14.99----> on sale for 0.99
