so apparently the goal of the Australian government is to keep growth factor below 1. it is today at 0.89
restrictions will ease if the growth stays below 1, but will tighten up again if it goes up again.

I wish they would just go for the eliminate
Aus boarders are completely closed. Only returning Aussies are allowed in. Then they have to spend 14 days locked in hotel rooms with police and army guarding the hotels
I cannot remember which thread you were asking for info on spread/ risk in schools
the Vic premier said this today
The premier noted there have been seven coronavirus cases in Victoria traced back to schools, and the science on whether or not to keep children away from classrooms to tackle COVID-19 is "not settled".
"We can guess, or we can have an abundance of caution and I'm happy to be criticised for being cautious in this. I know what's at stake."

sorry for your loss
funerals are hard atm. Here there can only be 10 people which means that often even immediate family cannot all attend the funeral service

In the Polly tunnel I have cherry tomatoes and capsicum that I shifted out of the veggie garden in tubs, I have dwarf green beans, lots of rows at differing ages, some lettuce seedlings and will shortly plant some zucchini
Hope this works, photo of inside of Polly tunnel. We usually only use it for germinating seeds as we don’t have enough water to keep it up, but with the current world situation we are going to use it for the winter at least.
Here it is mid autumn. I am in a rush to get all the winter veggies into the ground before it cools down and growing slows. I can grow all year round, but get frosts in the winter so need to have frost hardy things over winter
How is your veggie garden going?
I thought it might be fun to post some pictures of veggie gardens. I will try and take one of mine tomorrow ( as it is night here at the moment) . I would love to see pictures of others veggie gardens 🙂
All schools have a union rep, even tiny country schools. It is probably the most unionised thing in the country after ship unloading ( which my phone won't let me write the correct word, but keeps changing to wolf)
Are you in the union? They would probably be able to give you advice.
Not that I have ever been in the union, but have been in situations where it would have made life much easier
Not the first time I have seen it on this forum.
always used in a justification and trying to fudge figures type of way to make out that USA isn’t doing as poorly as it is.
