  1. Sheepishly waving my hand over here. (I don't wanta, summer has been pretty darn good this year minus the flood.) The books aren't all here anyway, and I did manage to torture them with two Latin lessons this week.
  2. Congrats. I'll toss some greenies your way again soon..You too Tara. I'm out for the day.
  3. Absolutely! You've got one very talented momma.
  4. :001_smile:Definately! I use the board as my breaks between moments of madness ie ...cleaning, teaching, gardening or cleaning the pool. There were two very scary frogs by the pool! Gross..ick...spit, shake and shudder:w00t:.
  5. Oh, they're adorable. Love the period attire. And today, I miss living in the DC area:001_smile:.
  6. Oh, Donna! I'm in love with your table and bookshelves. :D The room looks so inviting. Beautiful...:001_smile:
  7. I understand.:grouphug: Don't worry with lots of supervision, training and praise they will get.
  8. I voted kitchen table, but we actually use the one in the dining room. That way we get to eat at a book free one.:001_smile: We homeschool downstairs between the dining room, kitchen, computer room and even the living room by the fireplace, but most of the work is done in the dining room. Our books fit in the bottom of the china cabinet and any large poster boards and dry erase board slips behind it. Once school is done it's all out of sight out of mind. We've had a school room, but this works better for us. I like having access to the everything without being stuck in a room. Just find what works best for you.;)
  9. :iagree: Those and finding a balance of lessons, activities, dinners at the table, laundry and a clean house, and enough sleep are necessary for me to function. Each year the balance part gets a little easier as my kids grow, but it is still an effort.
  10. :iagree: Yep. I may be off with my dialect, but I'm consistent. Add a little southern and anything sounds good.:001_smile:
  11. How many slices do you yield per loaf? I'd make enough for everyone to have at least two sandwiches and a few extras. Have fun...
  12. You're amazing. Congratulations:grouphug:
  13. I've been sending any extras with hubby to the office. I can't get into Kale. Maybe, I just can't cook it. I use the cabbage in baked dishes, egg rolls, fish tacos and make it Chinese style.
