  1. Others listed at www.oldfashionededucation.com and www.amblesideonline.org My kids love the Among the____ People series (about animals)
  2. Where did you get the notebook pages? I would love them!
  3. Ok...let me think. I do DE and print, but if you buy from TOG you can upgrade to print later. I would maybe do DE only right now. Lapbook is fun. :) Pop Quiz is helpful for me. That is all I owned for Yr 2. I also used SOTW and the AG for that year. (You would need sotw2 and sotw3 as tog2 covers a BIG chunk of time)
  4. I am trying to snag a used ECC set to use with tog 4 for my ds8 and dd6 (olders would do stuff as time allows). TOG 4 is a deep year and I thought it would be fun to focus more on geography of modern history than the history itself. We will see if I can find a set cheap enough though, Money is super tight around here.
  5. MFW forum has ideas to beef it up. There is a link...if I can find it. :p
  6. I am heartbroken. :( Praying for her and her family.
  7. We are currently using TOG3 with ds13 in D and dd11 in D literature. We are really enjoying it. :)
  8. Got it. I think you will be fine then. That should work :)
  9. This is the set we have and we love them! Played with regularly and no paint chips.
  10. Totally agree with the above. I have used WWE with my dd11 and ds13. No complaints from them. I even made them use student sheets just to make it easier for me. (Lines are big lol)
  11. I am part of a great Montessori group here: http://m.facebook.com/?_rdr#!/groups/458239510907922?ref=m_notif&notif_t=group_activity&actorid=1024701455&__user=1178148338. It is all about free and inexpensive Montessori ideas. I would read The Well Trained Mind. We use their history cycle and science cycle. I also use Charlotte Mason approach a lot. That kind of organizes our life style and day. Throw in Montessori hands on and WTM rotations (we also use WWE and FLL which are LA resources from WTM) And that is our homeschool in a nut shell. :)
  12. Are you skipping year 3? I will look over tog 4 again. I don't have any R studnts right now either. Let me look thru unit 3 and 4 again.
  13. We are doing year 4 next year as well. I was looking through website links, and it covers a LOT. Condensing may be over kill.
  14. We have had good luck with MUS Primer.
  15. www.educationunboxed.com is really helpful too.
  16. 2032. That's what I should have wrote. Been writing that all day! :D  Opps!
  17. Could be I don't know how to do math? :p Its not included in TOG you know! lol I think I figured I would hold the twins back a year (am pregnant and due July 28th).so maybe 2033??? PS...I haven't been sleeping much! :D
