  1. I am cleaning out my schoolroom and organizing by TOG years. Been a headache. :( I own print year 1 without a loom. Year 2 DE/print (no loom) Year 3 print with loom (if I can find it) and DE purchased on its own I emailed TOG. Hopefully will have answer tomorrow.
  2. Thank you for writing that out!!! Very helpful :)
  3. You are my hero! We are in our second year of TOG. Now I know who to find if I have any questions! :D
  4. Honestly, I think your best bet would be TOG. Easiest in my opinion to combine and the LG levels are kept pretty pure, but upper levels are challenging and discuss Gods view vs world view. I have used TOG 2 and am currently in unit 3 of TOG 3. We plan on using it long term. HOD would be a good option for little ones as they do not really discuss other religions at least until about 4th grade or so, however you could not really combine k an d 5th grade.
  5. Thanks everyone! :) I have trouble searching things here.
  6. Ok....I made a list. It is 6 pages long so far. That is NOT listing individual books or anything. :o
  7. I would love to be able to edit this. :) Yes....I am that bad at computers....not sure what I would need to do to be able to do that. :p
  8. Never thought to check there! Thanks!
  9. Can anyone link me to it? I searched and can't find it. :) Thanks
  10. Yup 8 kids so far and tutoring. :) I won't even make a list :p
  11. I found some that the whole back of the letter is a magnet so they won't fall off. Front are wooden. They had letters and numbers. :)
  12. Reminding me to stick to the basics and not be overwhelmed by fluff.
  13. It looks like most of the changes are to Rhetoric level and to update out of print books.
  14. Taking notes....don't really have any money, so hard to spend. :(
  15. It is a steep difference though. It doesn't effect me as I will own DE of all four years, but it does concern my that it makes them look like they are trying to pull profit everywhere they can....even if that hurts customers. This hurts families who can not afford to use TOG. Families who blog wonderful things about TOG, contribute to forum conversations about TOG, and give positive reviews about TOG.
  16. I can't believe I missed mr q sale. Damn money. :( I have been waiting for that one.
  17. I use LHFHG as a guide and for ideas for our K year. Also using MUS Primer, SM 1A, and OPGTR. Going slow and light.
  18. Great thread! We have has great success with c-rods.
  19. This is what we are doing. We did AO and SOTW 1-4. Now olders are still using SOTW but using TOG. I love SOTW! I read them and have learned a ton!
  20. TOG has hands on activities, lapbooks available, and timeline info for each lesson. :)
  21. Honestly, I would say if you know you want to use TOG for high school, get it now. Get your feet wet and start getting comfortable with TOG. We are in our second year with TOG and plan on continuing thru high school. I have a 7th, 5th, 2nd grader plus tag along Ker and preschooler. (Plus adult son, soon to be 2yr old and baby in tummy! Lol)
