I was gifted a like new McCullogh steam cleaner. It has pretty high ratings and looks like it's used quite a bit for both home and automotive cleaning. I read the directions and watched a couple of videos of people happily steaming their floors, refrigerators and bathrooms. I got it set up and going and took it to a bathroom where I tried to clean the tub and tile. The bathroom has not been in use in several months so there's a lot of dried on soap scum and general dirt. All the steam cleaner does is get things wet. The dirt doesn't even move. I'm either not understanding how to use this or it's not really meant for things that are actually dirty. I use the tip that says it's meant for cleaning grout. Ideas of what I'm doing wrong? Or is steam cleaning really for things that you've already scrubbed clean and you're just disinfecting or something like that.

I have kids that work in horse barns and others that sweat buckets in sports. Their clothes are gross. -
all natural laundry detergent that smells good
Shelydon replied to ProudGrandma's topic in The Chat Board
I would love to switch to a natural laundry detergent, but I find that they simply do not work. Tide or Persil are the only things that really get our clothes clean. If anyone was a die-hard Tide user and was able to find something that works as well, please chime in. OP, could you use a natural laundry detergent with some of those Gain scented pellets. -
August Gardens: come inside and sit a spell.
Shelydon replied to Faith-manor's topic in The Chat Board
Our garden was done by June 15th.. It's been well over 100° for over a month. We will be able to start a winter garden in October. It's always so strange when we travel out of state in August and people are still being able to grow fruit and vegetables. -

I need to find my passion.... what is yours?

I hope you find something you like! Just wanted to chime in and say I also don't have any hobbies that I enjoy. I'm still in a super busy stage of life where I am in charge of several organizations, but there's nothing that I actually lkke doing. 🤷♀️ So, you are not alone or unusual. -
In a public high school, bathrooms are cleaned daily and often twice a day, so I would sit down on the toilet. In sketchy public bathrooms like gas stations and more likely to cover with toilet paper.

Thanks! I'm trying to get into the 'better' rheumatologist here
-
My free tT4 was 1.28 and free T3 was 3.45 per the lab report, those are normal ranges, but haven't looked them up
-
I guess that will be one of my first questions, do I actually need to start on medication?
-
Thanks! I've been reading up on diet. The information seems to be very conflicting with some suggesting an anti-inflammatory diet while others saying that the only thing that works is eating red meat exclusively. Sigh.
-
I do have a referral for a rheumatologist, my primary care Dr ran the labs. My inflammation markers were very low and I don't have any typical symptoms of Sjogrens. 🤷♀️ So---- off we go to try to figure out what's wrong with me
-
I had blood work done and had the following results: Rheumatoid Factor 17 (normal less than 14) HIGH ANA Screen Positive SS-A Autoantibodies IGG 8.0 High SS-B Autoantibodies IGG 6.2 High

How do you do this? -
I would chase if a someone had a person or pet. Otherwise, no. But I feel like as a whole, teenagers have become incredibly disrespectful and that makes people very angry.

The people in an area are more important to me than the area itself. I personally have no plans to move away from where we currently live because this is where all of my connections are. My DH would like to move out of state.
