  1. If you used a card there during the stated time period, your info has been stolen and may be used.
  2. My boys read Pride and Prejudice around that age, and really enjoyed it. Although they read a lot, it wasn't a book they would have picked on their own to read, so I was surprised that they liked it.
  3. Is this standard notation? I have never learned this and I don't see it in the other two Geometry books we have. For example, AoPS uses [ABC]=64 to mean the area of triangle ABC=64.
  4. :grouphug: I'm sorry Joanne...I am glad that it sounds like you are getting good medical care though, and have support for you and your children.
  5. I agree. My kids used Alcumus as a review after covering the topics in the book.
  6. :grouphug: But how cool that a potted plant is on the supply list!
  7. :iagree: Does she really like the viola? In our youth orchestras, the violin (as you move up to the higher levels) is hugely competitive, and there are many more violin players than viola players. This was not on our minds at all when we started, but just something to think about.
  8. :grouphug: Thank you for sharing your story. :grouphug:
  9. Unfortunately, you have to pay the return shipping.
  10. Have you checked 6pm.com? (And they have quite a few Fossil bags $100 or less)
  11. I really like Smartwool. It's lightweight, comfortable, warm, and washes well.. I know it's expensive but I try to buy it on sale.
  12. If you followed the washing instructions on the labels, I would return them. Clothing shouldn't shrink after one wash.
  13. I use a Ms. Bento (smaller than the Mr. Bento) and I really like it, though I don't have a microwave available when I use it. I would definitely buy another as I think Zojirushi's quality is very good.
  14. Have you looked at a Zojirushi Mr. Bento?
  15. I agree. For the past few years, the math instruction/practice in our school district has been very heavy on multiple choice questions for 'test prep'. Many of them poorly worded. I am glad to see they are now replacing many of the multiple choice problems with actually solving math problems and some 'explain your answer' in a few sentences problems.
  16. If you can afford it, I would go to a professional. You might be able to get something like partial lowlights which should be less expensive and need fewer trips to the salon than all-over hair color.
  17. I would switch to notebooks. It will make keeping his work organized much easier. I also think it's a bit harder when you homeschool to keep loose papers together--home life blends in with school work. Binders did not work at our house. :001_smile:
