Is this the first time he has behaved like this? If so, I’d have a private conversation with him. If not, I doubt that his behavior will change now. I would keep the kids home and just tell them you and Dad disagree on this topic.

Daughter works for s smaller Speech and Language Pathology Company. Most of her clients are kids, under 15. Well, because of the virus, her boss will close the offices starting tomorrow. So, DD will now be only hourly and only for those kids’ parents who want teletherapy. She’s upset, bills to pay, rent to meet etc., just like so many others😢 She said she has some savings, how much, I didn’t ask. I sent her home with some panty stuff and assured her, she wouldn’t be living on the street and will have food to eat. Praying for all those who have been impacted🙏🏻

My neighbor has 3 kids, 6th and 2 in 9th grade. Their oldest is in a private school and they are out until April 14th. They will do virtual learning. The other two are in public school and school has been cancelled today and Monday. Mom thinks public school is gearing up to close too. I’ll help in whatever way I can, checking in on them, having them over to play board games, baking/cooking with them. Mom is a SLP, working with an older population. She thinks her center will close. Since she’s a contracted worker, she won’t get paid😢I really feel for them.

Our church hasn’t canceled yet. We have an average attendance of 150, over 2 services. I wouldn’t be surprised if the common cup wasn’t offered and only individual cups or intinsion are offered for communion.

I’m planning on replacing my 30 inch gas stove within the year. It’s a freestanding type. I really want a stainless steel top instead of the black porcelain top. My thinking is the stainless would be easier to clean. I have a black porcelain top now, which shows everything. The stove is also 10+ years and some pitting has occurred, something my ocd finds hard to handle. Any strong feelings about either one? Thanks!

I like the lighter one. We have a north facing house so light and bright is important to me.

I’ve never gotten the flu shot. DH always gets the flu shot and oldest daughter does too. I believe her job mandates it. Both of our daughters had the chicken pox before the shot became available. That is an example of a shot, I wouldn’t have opted for because, overall, they were healthy kids.
