umsami
I love Soft Surroundings. They go on sale occasionally. For denim, I go to denim skirts.com I've seen some at Target, too. If you're plus size, onestopplus.com/fullbeauty.com is great.

mmasc
Target. Women's Striped Maxi Skirt by Merona $20 Casual, but cute and comfy. :)
Orthodox6
Target -- but only if you are 5'8" or taller. DD and I call them "giraffe skirts" because we could not possibly wear them, and often the patterns and/or cut do not lend themselves to the undesirable requirement of hemming the skirt. Debbi in Texas
My sister mailed me some for my birthday that came from Factory Connections-she is manager there. They are really cute.
Orthodox6
P.S. I never have seen a "matronly" long, flowing skirt and can't envision one.

Orthodox6
Too funny! Perhaps it's just in my area. Thanks for all of the suggestions ladies! The only "matronly" "long, flowing" women's garment that comes to my mind is a muumuu. I never have seen anyone of less than "a certain age" wear one of those. (I'm about to turn sixty, and remember when these were very popular. I never have wanted one, and never will.) (Perhaps they still are popular in some parts of the country?)
