Melissa in Australia
Up at 5:30 process twins milk cow 4 loads of laundry washed and hung out to dry. As it was a drizzly day. I hung my sheets under the veranda on a rope line. 10 minutes later ds11 walks by and asks who's sheets are they hanging under the veranda roof. I said mine. He replies Oh then it doesn't matter then. I go out to see what has happened to the sheets. and find out that DH ( for some reason beyond my understanding) for the first time he ever decided to climb up the outside of the house and over the veranda railing :scared: ( at least 12 feet above ground) his boot makes contact with BOTH SHEETS :scared: . and his boot had a far bit of GOOSE POO on the bottom of it :scared: . you guessed it... all over the sheet. DH first tries to tell me it doesn't matter. :toetap05: he then tells me that he will give it a quick rinse in that section :toetap05: . I am afraid that DH acting like a shamefaced little boy was too much for me and I broke down in hysterical laughter. :smilielol5: As I removed the sheets to rewash them I threatened to leave them as they were and put the pooey part on HIS SIDE OF THE BED. bottle double batch of Worcestershire sauce. clean kitchen Pick a gazillion cheery tomatoes and get dd15 to make a triple batch of salsa sauce. I bottled sauce. clean kitchen clean the Veranda some weeding in flower garden. fold millions of baskets of Laundry ( I worked 3 days last week) peel and slice a huge basket of apples and place them in the drying racks above the combustion stove. There are 3 racks each one is a little bigger than 1 metre squared. make Zucchini and Bacon Muffins. Clean kitchen Go to bottle cucumber pickles that I sliced and salted yesterday only to find that I don't have any dill. will have to bottle them tomorrow after someone goes into town to get some dill. make venison casserole and garlic bread for tea with sago and chocolate ice cream for desert. Clean kitchen. still to go Hang last load of laundry ( nappies and training undies) Clean kitchen ( what is it with that room  ) Tomorrow morning schoolwork with DS11 ( he does it the evening before as he cannot concentrate with the twins )

MysteryJen
Nothing here. Until we go the the great Super Bowl Party! It is an annual tradition with a great family, their giant house, tons of people and kids, and a ridiculous amount of food. Have a wonderful day! Luckymama
We're home and back to real life. Our flight was delayed, and we didn't get home until 1:15  So ahead: --finish unpacking --a bit of laundry (I kept up w it on vacation since we had a w/d in our DVC unit) --plan meals for week (dinner will come out of the freezer) --grocery shopping??? --make sure dd finishes her English assignments for the week (due today) --check my school plans for this week and probably some other stuff. We will not be watching the Super Bowl because, in this house, football=nap.

Annie G
Laziest day ever. Linus has dropped about 7 inches of heavy snow so far and tonight it'll start blowing and drifting. Staying home from our Super Bowl get together so I didn't even bother to shower. Been working on a quilt all day and will order pizza to have with the game. I need a day like this every once in a while.
MomtoCandJ
Why??? Dd1 was to have her room cleaned before going to grandma's (inlaws) instead she decides to not listen and then throw a huge fit. Now she isn't to go and dh is staying home with her. She also isn't going to play practice tomorrow. This was supposed to a fun family day and she killed it.

Jean in Newcastle
Hkffkj, I hope you don't get sick. MomtoCandJ - stay safe with the winds. I'm sorry that you didn't get your fun day. I hope your dd gets her room cleaned.
hjffkj
Well I napped, pumped myself full of fluids and vitamin C, and have been rinsing my sinuses with a saline rinse all day and I'm feel much better. The tickle in my throat is nonexistent at the moment so I'm just going to keep doing the same thing till 2 am when I have to stop eating or drinking. Then I'll just continue with the nasal rinses. Jean in Newcastle
Church done Ds had his first 4 hour shift of his new job. Boy, was he tired out! Exercised at the Y. There were more people there than I expected since I didn't go until the game started. Grocery store run done. Ditto on how many people there were. Poor Libby is having a terrible Super Bowl. Every time our team scores fireworks go off in the neighborhood.
MomtoCandJ
So far winds haven't been that strong but with my luck they will pick up over night. Please pray no trees/large limbs fall on our house or vehicles, we do have insurance (not sure though if my car is covered since I don't have comprehensive on it) but I'd rather not go there

DawnM
Yesterday we did about an hour of work in the basement for 3 of us. That was all we could do because we filled the car with things to take to Goodwill and we filled both trash cans to put out for Monday morning's trash pick up. I am PURGING baby!
