Susan Wise Bauer
Hey, I'm just dying for someone to start another political thread so I can keep going... SWB P.S. Just kidding. Don't do it. I'll ban you.:boxing_smiley:
lori in tx
I know I was  all over the place, I just wish I had the joy and ability to do the same thing sometime. farmgirlinwv
I was disappointed, but I understand why it is done. I love political discussions, but I wouldn't want to police them.
Colleen
...I think issuing a harsh, sarcastic comment to a woman (MJN) undergoing radiation treatment for asking what she likely considered an innocent question lacks tact and grace.

Tracey in TX
The best part of my day has come from SWB's mini-diatribes. Much like children like to bicker and banter despite our maternal displeasure, we sometimes feel compelled to follow their rebellious examples! ...SWB, if you want a chuckle, as I'm typing this I noticed my DD,9, riding her BIKE through the house. Mind you, this is the same darling that broke her toe yesterday playing soccer in the house. And, no, it is not allowed! HAVE MERCY!!! (Political duke 'em fests would be an improvement over the day thus far.) Have a java on us~~Cheers!
newlifemom
We on the west coast miss out on so much fun.:001_huh::lol: Apparently, whilst you all were bickering, I was home educating my dc and being an all round great mom.:Angel_anim: Honest. ;)
TammyinTN
It seems to me that this board has become a contradiction in terms...you can be well educated but don't challenge anyone here or carry on a educated discussion...political or otherwise. Sad! My children and family has gained a great deal of knowledge from here..but one thing I never taught my children to do when they didn't agree with things was to go along with the "good old boys"..I guess its time I take my leave as I've outgrown this board. Susan Wise Bauer
Sigh. OK, this has been fun. Now you should all probably go back to arguing with each other, in a well-educated way, about any nonpolitical topic you choose. SWB
