dirty ethel rackham
Mine go in a basket as well. I always intend to update the address book with all the kids names and ages and I always plan to put the pictures of closer friends and family into an album. However, that hasn't happened yet:). This year, I did toss a bunch of picture, expecting to get a bunch more this year. However, we definitely did not get that many cards this year. I over ordered our family picture cards - I have about 20 left over. I have several orthodox friends who mail them later - their Christmas is later:). Others just do because that is how they are:). I look forward to the "book" of a Christmas letter from one of my friends. We usually howl in laughter over it. The comedy world is definitely underrepresented - moms are some of the funniest people in the world!!
Mekanamom
I keep the photo cards; recycle the regular greeting cards & newsletters. :001_smile:

Sharon H in IL
Trim to fit, then slide them into acid-free photo albums. I'm only on my second album. It's nice to be able to look back and see the changes.
Tammyla
Family...I keep...others I've worked up the strength to toss them, and I only feel a wee bit guilty.
CalicoKat
Pictures do eventually get tossed. The cards get used for Thankyou card creations. The kid cut the pretty pictures out or use the backgrounds for their cards of thanks.
Mommyof4ks
I cut out the pix and put them on the fridge after the season. We generally only get pix of friends and family, so I don't usually have to choose which ones to keep.
Brenda in FL
I cut them to size and slide them in a photo album. It's more fun to look at old ones than new ones, imo! This is what I do as well - I love looking back at them every year and it is fun to see how the families have grown in size and how the children have grown over the years. I love getting pictures and I love sitting by the lighted tree and being blessed by all the precious people we have known throughout the years! I put them in smaller Christmas photo alblums that come out only at Chrismas time. (I still have all the letters as well - but no place to put them - I suspect I will eventually toss them). sweetbaby
I usually store them in my box of pictures or photo album after the holidays.
laughing lioness
I put them on the frig and leave them up year round.
Michele B
I put them in a scrapbook. I enjoy looking at them once a year and seeing how my friends' families have grown.
~Tara~
They get tossed at the end of the season here as well. Sorry. But they should all know by now that I'm a purger :p
dawn of ns
They get tossed at the end of the season here as well.Sorry. But they should all know by now that I'm a purger :p Same here. I generally don't care much for the staged pictures of friends and family I get and they tend to get slowly lost. LOVE the informal, amateur shots though. Lakeside
We post them on the refrigerator for the rest of the year. We live far from most of our family and friends. It is nice to have a visual update.
