First it was zebras, now an Emu. I am rooting for the Emu.

I don't have a great sense of what emus eat, but like skunks and possums are doing quite well here currently.  And Franklin County is pretty rural.  I could see emu thriving, honestly.  Pretty soon there will be big giant gardens....

We've had some cold days, but yesterday was 65, and my ten day forecast has the coldest high being tomorrow at 46 degrees.  It does get below freezing at night, but say, Obama does fine outside at night (he and other neighborhood cats have a territory sharing by time of day thing going, and he is out mostly at night and in during the day), and he's a lot smaller than an emu.
