Innisfree
Every election is important, so find some time to stop in and vote today if there's anything on the ballot in your location. Our polling place had no lines this morning, but a steady flow in and out. How does the turnout look in other areas?
mom2scouts
I'll go vote soon, but we don't have much going on. One city council race, renewal levy for CPS, school board where all will get in, and unopposed judge.
Innisfree
I tried to look at a national map of what is going on where. It seems to vary enormously.
mlktwins
I'm in VA and I voted. Big election here!
Selkie
We have absolutely nothing going on here. I forgot it was even Election Day until I saw this thread.
theelfqueen
We have only mail in ballots... sent mine off a long time ago... With its two exciting ballot items (one a statewide funding question, one a gambling tax question). My 18 year old was sad to get his ballot and discover that yeah, living outside the city means sometimes there's basically nothing to vote on. But he voted.
MEmama
2 state questions for us. 30 seconds in and out. ✅
Pawz4me
The only thing we have is a mayor running unopposed for re-election, and two members of the town council running unopposed for re-election (two seats available). Not exactly inspirational for going to vote.
Junie
I voted. We had a pretty boring election, but I took four of the dc with me which made everyone happy. The older ladies who run the election tables are always disappointed when I come to vote alone.
