RegularMom Posted November 2, 2008 Share Posted November 2, 2008 (edited) Good morning everyone, We just found out that RegularDad's stepmother finally got a perfect match on the transplant list. She's been waiting for a heart and two lungs for almost a year now, and it all finally came through last night. She's in surgery now, and will be until late this afternoon. It's a 9-hour procedure. Please pray for her to survive this surgery, and to recover from her long battle with lung failure. She never smoked a day in her life, but breathed beryllium dust at her factory job for over 20 years. Thanks, and I'll keep you posted.
