Washed windows

Cleaned both bathrooms

Tidied up whole house

Had previous respite foster carers of new arrival visit. This is the last stage of transition plan. Had A very long chat to them. Apparently new arrival's troublesome behaviour is new arrivals ordanary behaviour, and way better than his bad behaviour ( which we haven't seen yet). We thought we were seeing the difficult b ehaviour and there would be a gradual improvement. Argh! I don't know if I could go through 12 years of this type of behaviour.

Whew, what a start to the week. Woke up to freezing rain and the iciest conditions I've ever seen. Dh came out to help me with horse chores and we both fell multiple times on the ice. Now we're both hobbling around the house like 90-year-old invalids.  It was too icy for the horses to get to their waterer so the kids and I spent about an hour hauling buckets of water from the pump for them - it was very slow going because even the grass was iced over and dangerous. Hoping for a warmer spell this afternoon and evening so some of this ice will disappear.

Done:

•animal chores

•4 loads laundry

•made a big bowl of salad for the fridge

•school (ongoing)

To do:

•clean kitchen

•make some veggies to keep in fridge (brussel sprouts, cauliflower, artichokes)

•water plants

•tidy up main floor

•place a few online orders for grocery items

•dinner=portobello tostadas and slaw
