HappyGrace
I love Ambleside and Simply Charlotte Mason-any others? How about blogs (besides lindafay's and Tami's) I've read all the books (Karen Andreola, etc.)! I'm thinking embracing some of the CM philosophy may help in our "slower" lifestyle and I'd love to see blogs of people actually implementing this, or curricula to help me (although I realize "CM curricula" is somewhat of an oxymoron!) Stacia
There is a secular CM yahoo group: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/SecularCM/ I like it because it's not hard & fast CM users -- some just dabble in CM, toss around ideas, how to realistically implement things, etc.... And, here's a blog to check out: http://farmschool.wordpress.com/
Rhonda@LivingWater
Some of these I've not visited in a while. You might gain some fresh insight from some of them: http://www.tanglewoodeducation.com/ http://www.charlottemasoneducation.com http://www.charlottesdaughters.org http://www.cmblog.homeschooljournal.net Two of my favorite books are Charlotte Mason Companion by Karen Andreola and More Charlotte Mason Education by Catherine Levison. Sweetpeach
I think Ann Voskamp at http://www.holyexperience.blogspot.com is influenced by the CM approach to schooling. Her blog, however, is a well-rounded approach to living well blog, and not dedicated solely to their hs'ing journey. T

Angela in TN
My SIL has a great Charlotte Mason inspired blog, she shares a lot of what they are doing and resources. We lean more towards Charlotte Mason but my blog isn't helpful in the way that hers is. http://www.thecookfamilyzoo.blogspot.com/ Also her sister does a lot of great Charlotte Mason type activities for the younger set 5 and under: http://dwellingintheland.blogspot.com/ HTH
Rebecca
Someone linked to Living Books Curriculum. It is a wonderful CM curriculum that is very, very true to Charlotte Mason's philosophy. The website has links to other sites, resources, and Parent's Journal archives. I have loved using this program this year. I have found all the articles to be very practical and helpful. HappyGrace
I will probably be more CM influenced with ds (just turned 5) than I was with dd at that age. It will be a good fit for him, and I'm able to relax enough now to be okay with short lessons, etc., and know it is "enough," and maybe "better," like I wasn't able to do with her. This was a good site to get a feel for it. I like how it was laid out in terms and in days for many subjects-very helpful. Thank you!
