SKL Posted May 29, 2016 Share Posted May 29, 2016 (edited) The work I wanted to send out last night is still not done, because it wasn't as far along as I'd thought. (Delegated & got disappointed.) I had to go to sleep for a few hours, so now here I am back at it. I will skip church. Well, we're going to a Memorial Day service tomorrow, so that ought to suffice. I promised to do the taxes of a couple who are both in the hospital/rehab long term. I am to meet their son early afternoon. Getting away from work is going to be interesting (it always is), but the last time I postponed, the wife had a heart attack (literally) so I don't plan on doing that again. I heard last night that someone wants to drop over this evening. Nice to have so much advance notice. The house is a mess, but hopefully not too hard to straighten up. Still, not the best timing. My kids have "Sunday fun day" today, so they are not going to be in the mood to clean house. Need to do the laundry so the kids will have the right clothes to wear to be in the Memorial Day parade tomorrow. SKL Posted May 29, 2016 Share Posted May 29, 2016 Finished that tax return for my friend. That's a load off everyone's mind. But man, they smoke like chimneys in that house. I had to take a shower as soon as I got home. And now I'm enjoying the luxury of breathable air. My lungs still hurt a little.
