wendy not in HI
The Fruit Company - http://www.thefruitcompany.com/ it is owned and run by a family in Hood River, Oregon. Just the most beautiful place on the planet. Our family used to live there, and I have one sister who still does live there. She and her husband grow pears and apples. This is not my sister's company, but friends of theirs. Anyway, I try to support that small town and the growers by buying gift boxes through them. Slightly healthy! and yummy! ETA - it's not just fruit - there are baskets or stacks of candies and nuts and other goodies along with the fruit.
