Xuzi
DD10 meant to say eclipse. Did anybody on the west coast get up in the wee smas to watch the lunar eclipse this morning?

Word Nerd
I saw the very beginning, but the clouds moved in and ruined the total eclipse here.
GailV
I thought I saw an article that the eclipse might herald the end times since the blood moon fell on certain holy days. Your kiddo might have a future in writing for some of the more sensationalistic news sources.
Amira
I got most everyone up a few minutes before totality, just before the clouds covered the moon. Then they all went back to bed. I'm looking forward to September's eclipse that won't interrupt my sleep!
Cinder
 Cute! Years ago we were in the perfect place to see a total lunar eclipse. It was awesome! Hope you enjoyed your early morning!

idnib
Oh no! I actually woke up from a bad dream (about zombies, seriously!) so I could have stepped outside. I watched the entire thing last time, though.
Miss Tick
I'm not on the west coast, so it wasn't full, but still interesting to watch!
mommaduck
LOL! I saw the topic title and thought, "oh no, please tell me we aren't going there today!"
rebbyribs
Yes. I happened to wake up and noticed the clock said 5:00, so I thought I'd check and see whether the moon was visible. It was mostly red, with a thin sliver of white visible at the top. I woke up DD8 and DH to have a look too, and then we all went back to bed.
