Scrub Jay
Anyone regularly wear something like these harem or taj pants? I like the idea of building my wardrobe to allow myself to just practice yoga whenever I feel like it but I would rather wear something that doesn't necessarily scream yoga pants. Snickerdoodle
Harem and Taj pants are totally not my style, but I want to know, have you ordered from this place before? What do you think of their fit and quality?
hornblower
Not my style either. I do have some old lululemon studio pants (slightly different than the current version of them) which I absolutely adore. Mine are more like the MEC ones Zumba clothing makes a lot of really cool cargo pants but most are useless as far as I'm concerned because they have no stretch.... but a few do, like the Soft N Stretch & these capris & I think I'm going to get a pair of these to try out soon. Yoga field trip. :) I also read this little article on the company.
MomtoCandJ
Not my thing, reminds me of parachute pants from the '90s (I was in elementary school when they were really in)
Cakes
I personally could never pull that off....not nearly cool enough!
Word Nerd
I just pictured myself in those and laughed, but I love the Jyoti Skirt and some of the yoga pants and leggings.
Scrub Jay
I don't know if I could pull it off, either. But I do think they're pretty. I also live in SoCal so clothing is definitely more varied here.
Scrub Jay
And feel free to post other types of pants that are good for yoga but not what you typically see. I'm thinking of things that don't scream workout pants, if that makes sense.
Kim in Appalachia
Those pants would not look right on me, but if you like them, you should go for it. :) I'm building my collection of yoga pants. I have 2 pair from Athleta, they have pockets and are designed to look like regular pants. I also have a pair of yoga tights. I have 2 pair of capries, but the one pair is getting old (also from Athleta, I think they are about 6 yrs old??? their stuff lasts). I want to get more capries. Liz CA
If you have yoga pants / capris but a long tunic type top over it, it does not look like you are going to drop into an immediate yoga pose...nor would every curve be visible - only the kneecaps. :)

Yes, I have those. I have them in straight leg and as jeggings. I had a pair that were boot cut, but I ordered them too big. I wore them for a long time, but when I did yoga in them they came down. :D I gave them to my oldest and she loves them.
Danestress
I love my heavier weight, boot cut yoga pants. I only wear them out and about if I have a long jacket to cover my butt. Around the house they are my absolute favorite and make me glad to live in the modern world. I could like the flowy skirts on that websire. In my own boring, suburban world, the haram and taj pants scream "look at me." So I would not really want to wear them, even though I think they look confortable. Scrub Jay
Maybe that's what I should do - go the more traditional yoga pants route (not leggings) but on the thicker side and pair them with pretty, loose and flowy tops. With a tank underneath so I'm not flashing anyone nearby if I go into downward facing dog. ;) Decisions, decisions. :)

Xuzi
Oh dear... I'm actually rather coveting a few of those harem pants! They're gorgeous! And I'd totally wear them.
reign
I would need to lose a ton of weight to look good in those. I think they rock though!

Cammie
IMHO, they often times end up looking like a diaper! If you are super skinny, and can wear a very fitted tank top on top, to balance out the fabric below, I think they can look funky and cool. However, if you have to wear something looser on top - it all becomes too much!

Xuzi
Confession: I am now the proud owner of some harem pants. :p My opinion? Most comfortable pants ever! And with a fitted t that goes over the waistband and some flats they don't look too bad either. (I'm 5'6", and typically wear a size 6/8) This is the pair I bought, in the yellow and navy color pattern.
