Excelsior! Academy
when you are running out the door for evening events?
Arcadia
Fruit and nuts granola bar if I didn't run out of them on the way to the car. I'll have a cup of coffee too before eating.
Joyofsixreboot
Boiled eggs, hummus in pita bread, a baggie of raw veggies, Apple and string cheese, banana and nuts in a Baggie, pbj, soup in a cup, kefir...can you tell I do this often? I should add we usually eat dinner at 5 because we need to be out the door at 6. I use these if we need to leave earlier or we will be out past 9 and they want to eat again. They are our go to lunch on the run staples too. I avoid concession/fast food.

trulycrabby
Peanut butter and honey, a banana, cheese, or a smoothie. Sometimes all of them if DS10 is in the middle of a growth spurt.
TechWife
Nothing. Most often when that happens I end up skipping dinner.
Murphy101
As in ME? (Not dh or kids?) I have black coffee to go.
Annie G
We did this two or three times a week for six years. We got into a routine to bring either homemade chicken tenders that were cold, or what we call a snack plate, which is good quality turkey and/or ham rolled up, sliced jack or cheddar cheese, a handful of crackers, and an assortment of olives, cherry tomatoes, things like that. It kept us from stopping for fast food or coming through the door starving. Both of these are super easy to make in advance and just grab and go. We left at 3:45 and got back home around 10 PM. I needed to eat during the time, or I would have been very crabby.
Excelsior! Academy
As in ME? (Not dh or kids?) I have black coffee to go. Sorry, should've been more specific. The family, as a whole. If it were just me I'd do the coffee too!
Truscifi
We pack a lunch box with fruit, cheese, nuts, granola bars, and crackers or goldfish usually. Sometimes I make sandwiches, but usually I'm not together enough to do it in time. :leaving:
Murphy101
Sorry, should've been more specific. The family, as a whole. If it were just me I'd do the coffee too! We grab snack stuff and eat dinner when we get back. Snack stuff: Peanutbutter pretzels Fresh fruit Cheese sticks Sandwiches Beef jerky Notice how only fresh fruit is whole30, hence I just grab black coffee.
