Luckymama
We are currently without a working sink. Dh went to replace a garbage disposal yesterday and discovered that the old unit was totally rusted together and onto the bottom of the sink  We trundled off to Home Depot to purchase the only (!) single bowl sink in the large size needed. He put it in, then began vocalizing in that certain way ;) while looking at the feeds etc. I called an audible...a plumber will be called to finish the installation. And then I reminded dh of his pledge last time to never attempt plumbing again. I should get it in writing  The man can rewire a house and do complicated carpentry but there's something about pipes... I hope the plumber can come today! My list: --help dd schedule her week's work --my portion of school w dd (chem, history, math, AP Human Geography) --exercise --whatever housework possible; Monday-specific chores --work on my homework for Saturday --a few planning emails --dd ballet 7:30-9 Dinner plans are dependent on running water in the kitchen. The powder room sink is too small for washing items larger than a dinner plate, and I don't really want to lug pots or pans upstairs to the tub

mom31257
Lucky, hopefully the plumber can make it, that is unless you are hoping for dinner out! I don't know how much I'll be on here this week, but this week is going to busier than last. I've got 5 hours of tutoring at Brainworks (3 different days), cleaning the office T & TH nights, school with the kids, and tutoring a friend's dd during our school day on Tuesday and Friday. She is in the last group in our state which has to pass a graduation test, and she just missed the score on math and social studies. She has test anxiety, but they never had her officially tested for any learning disabilities, so she doesn't have an IEP or accommodations for the testing. Done: breakfast and lunch for dh breakfast for everyone else dropped off dd at tech. college To Do: school with both kids pick dd up lunch tidy house laundry get dinner going and have dd finish it go tutor 5-7 eat when I get home get things ready for the next day

MysteryJen
Good morning! Luckymama, "called an audible" My dh is more frustrated by plumbing than nearly anything. He can install a sump pump, but toliets make him nuts. I hope your sink is working later! We have a fairly normal day. Dd1 is off to her class and will spend the day in town. The rest of us have school to do. We are going out for dinner tonight, dh's nephew is in town and so we are all getting together. So until my sister gets here around 2:30 I'm just going to be playing with the kids. After that I'll get dinner started, finish dealing with laundry, and get the kids started with cleaning their rooms.

JustEm
Tammy, plumbing leaks are the absolute worse! Last year we had 7 leaks in a 4 month time span. 1 leak caused $3000 worth of damage according to our insurance. We chose to just spend that money on having new plumbing put in the entire house and dealt the damage on our own.

Jean in Newcastle
took dd to another library went to the chiro for myself. I'm hoping that there might be some hope for taking away this more severe level of pain. We'll see. I'm pretty tender at the moment. We'll see how I feel once things settle down and stop spasming. Luckymama
I'm thinking 11- 12 is going to work for me this semester. It was awesome today! Good luck tomorrow....you got this! Thanks :) I've been doing 10-11 Monday/Tuesday/Friday and 11:30-12:30/1:00 Wednesday/Thursday (when dd has her live Arabic class). Last year I was pretty successful with 3-4pm, but that won't work with the class load because we don't get started until 9ish. I shouldn't beat myself up because I was under my calorie count for the day anyway :)
TammyinTN
Luckymama....I seriously have got to start hitting it hard. I gain 10 lbs from not exercising this summer. I don't care anything about be skinny just nice and healthy. My knees are aching tonight, but tomorrow I'll hit it again. We can do this!! mom31257
Jean, :grouphug: Rest and feel better! Tammy and Lucky, I don't know how I've managed it, but I've kept off the 25 pounds that I lost this past spring. I'm not being super strict or exercising much at all. We do clean the huge office 3 times a week now, so I'm working up a good sweat for almost 2 hours. It's not faced pace work, though. I would like to lose maybe 10-15 more pounds. Dd and I started walking the end of last week to walk a 5K in October. Friend are hosting one as an adoption fundraiser in December, so I told dd we should keep walking and try to beat our time. I hope that will do it without super strict carb counting. I think my list is done except for still getting some things together for tomorrow.
