texasmama
Missing my girl a lot lately. She is a sophomore away at college now. Though she is only about an hour away, it is not the same with her gone. This picture was taken about a year ago when we met at a restaurant. Just wanted to share with the hive. :)
indigomama
Ahhh, I often wonder how it'll be when my kids start living the nest, especially since as homeschoolers we spend so much time with them just always kind of being there. aggieamy
So which one's you and which one is your daughter? ;) That's what I thought too. I had to go back and reread the post because I thought it was her TWO daughters.
texasmama
Now ya'll are pretty cute! ;) That's me on the right, and my girl (obviously) on the left. Blurry photo and poor lighting do wonders for the aging process. :D Even though she is not far and still calls me and texts and we have a good relationship, etc, etc, etc, something has changed. Mostly, I let go. I'm grateful for her three siblings still here at home, but there is nothing like the oldest flying away from the nest to make you wish you had had more babies! This dd was not homeschooled, but it is still such a paradigm shift for her to be a "grown up" and gone away with a life of her own and an address that is not mine..
