Negin
Rebounding 1 Mile of Leslie - this is my favorite 1 Mile of hers - just her alone, no class and very efficient. I like this entire series a lot.
wintermom
Dh and I played singles tennis last night. It was cold (- 20 C) and snowing outside, but warm and toasty in the tennis bubble! A nice escape from the winter weather. I think I'll try to get out skiing this week, though, if it ever warms up!
Kim in Appalachia
My dh and I went running together this morning. We may try to make it our Sunday date. :) We ran 5 miles this morning, and it was cold.
LucyStoner
I can't hear you! It is NOT halfway through December already! You are lying, right? Sigh. I am going to run on a hilly trail this afternoon. Gotta burn off my cookie calories, right? (We hosted a cookie making party this weekend and I am afraid my ginger cookies are just a little too good.)

Joyofsixreboot
5 miles this morning but it felt like more because of all the snow drifts. It kind of reminded me of running in sand.

rieshy
I cooked fudge for my husband's workplace and packaged (and ate) it this early a.m. It took up my gym-time but I don't think it counts  Swimming this afternoon. Martial arts tonight.
Kim in Appalachia
Monday was a mile run on the treadmill and then kettlebell. The workout had swings, planks, squats, presses, pull-ups, and windmills.
LucyStoner
Yesterday was boot camp and then later stretching then 1.5 hours of roller skating.I had a PT appointment yesterday to address uneven low back pain as well which is limiting me on one side. That was my third and while it seems to be helpful, it's almost like it hurts more at first, IYKWIM. This morning I woke up late which is not uncommon for where I am in my monthly cycle. So today was no boot camp but I gots me some planz for later this morning. Once I have a crack of sun I will go run a trail and then do my own weight/resistance sets. It's a heavily wooded trail and I like to have a little more light to watch for slip hazards and other people.
Joyofsixreboot
Ran 4 miles. I think I qualify as monotonous.
Negin
Rebounding 8-Minute Abs & Arms
Negin
The 8-Minute Abs and Arms were good workouts, but also very entertaining to watch and a bit dated. Dd and I were just laughing our heads off at the unitard on this guy.
Kim in Appalachia
4 mile run yesterday, and I'm about to go do an hour of yoga. That unitard it too funny. :D
mom31257
I got a free 30 day membership to Curves and joined last Friday afternoon. I worked out that day. I also worked out there yesterday. I hope to go Thursday and Friday as well.
LucyStoner
So yesterday I did end up hitting the trail. I took hand weight because I sensed I would be moving slow and needed to up the benefit. That worked well. I explored a new to me section of trail along the water. Today I did my boot camp and stretching. I am on my cycle so I didn't push it hard beyond that. Sort of a lazy day besides getting some stuff done housework wise. I liked the new section of trail so much I am going to go back tomorrow with the kids after boot camp.
Negin
Classical Stretch - Full Body Workout. 4 mile run yesterday, and I'm about to go do an hour of yoga. That unitard it too funny. :D Kim, great job on the run and yoga. Yes, the unitard guy is hilarious. Sort of a lazy day besides getting some stuff done housework wise. Housework counts. :)
OneStepAtATime
Oh my goodness, love the unitard! You all are inspiring me! After recovering from breast cancer, two botched follow up surgeries, a massive life-threatening staph infection from one of the botched surgeries, a decimated immune system that caused severe swelling in both knees and a 25 pound weight gain, I am finally healthy enough and mentally ready to resume exercising on a regular basis and this thread is awesome to read. Wish me luck! Started my journey this week with some slow walks around the neighborhood. (Nothing like what all of you are doing, but maybe someday...) Best of luck to all.... Mom-ninja.
I'm back! I did manage to do some exercise while on vacation, but not as much as I do at home. So I'm not quite where I was when I left. I'm doing FitnessBlender 8 Week program to build myself back to where I was. So that's what I'll be doing mostly. FitnessBlender. (Nothing like what all of you are doing, but maybe someday...) :grouphug: Wishing you all the best. Take it one day at a time. Be patient. Start slow, as you're already doing. I'm back! So happy to see you back. You've been missed. Hope your vacation was a lovely one. :)

rieshy
Caught a nasty cold- today was my first day back to the gym. Just 45 minutes on the elliptical and pullups and core exercises. It felt gooooood. Maybe working out will stimulate my immune system.

mom31257
I've had too much Christmas and birthday (dh's is tomorrow) to do to get over to Curves. Does cleaning a 10,000 sq. ft building count as exercise? Our family cleans a large, pediatrician's office on Thursday nights and Saturdays. It takes the 4 of us about 2 hours working straight to get it all done. We're cleaning tonight so we don't have to on dh's birthday.
wintermom
I've been down with a cold this week, but finally got out for a skate with the dc. Tomorrow I'll be playing doubles tennis for two hours with a group of ladies. It should be fun!
LucyStoner
Yesterday was boot camp and a longer stretching time 2x. My kids were on a book and Christmas movie bender so I didn't get them out to hike. Which is too bad because the more I move on my cycle the better I am. Today is my own thing (no boot camps on Fridays except for weather make ups). I just need to decide what that is because I don't think making Christmas cookies is an aerobic workout and that is all I have done this morning besides walk to the store for more butter and the post office for mailing a package. My one sided low back hinky spot seems to be getting better. Thank goodness for PT and massage and that foam roller.

LucyStoner
So yesterday we ended up doing family yoga and I tossed in some reg and bicycle crunches and 3 push-ups sets. Today is still a mystery.

rieshy
I ran 2 miles today- in the great outdoors, wearing shorts and short sleeves in December and sweated. Weird weather here in TN, but it felt marvelous and my knee loved it. First street run since the injury.
OneStepAtATime
Going to walk around the block with my daughter this afternoon.
