MomatHWTK
I am going to have knit items for sale at a Christmas craft show that is all about gift shopping and I am stuck trying to decide whether folks would like warm scarves in unique colors for kids or if they are more likely to go for hats. These would be designs for elementary age kids.
lynn
I love matching hats and scarfs but my kids won't wear scarfs so just a nice hat would be enough.
Lisa in SC
My kids won't wear scarves, so I would rather have hats and gloves. My girls wear scarves, but they are the fashion accessory type, not winter wear.
regentrude
Scarves for teens, absolutely. My DD loves scarves. No knit hats. But not for elementary age; none of mine wore any. And I would not have given hats either as Christmas gifts to young kids, because they do not consider clothing a real gift.
Arcadia
My kids prefer hooded winter jackets as they find hats one more item to keep track off. Hubby don't want them wearing scarves as they use scarves as playthings. My kids didn't like knit gloves. They can knit hats and scarves themselves. They would love knitted soft toys though as gifts. LaxMom
I agree: hats for kids, scarves for teens.
prairiewindmomma
Any Minecraft or Doctor Who stuff? It would go well on etsy as well....
Library Momma
Mittens!
QueenCat
Mine would have worn hats at that age. They don't wear scarves, ever. I've never seen handmade gloves/mittens that I thought would really keep their hands warm so I wouldn't have bought those.
freeindeed
I like the idea of a matching set with a hat & scarf.
