lynn
I just serve with beans, rolls, chips but I want some type of salad /vegetable option and 2-3 dessert choices. This will be for a women's gathering. TIA

Freckles
I always serve creamy coleslaw with mine. Texas sheet cake is yummy and serves a crowd. The Pioneer Woman website has a great recipe. Broccoli salad might be a good option as well.
Annie
Coleslaw, roasted brussel sprouts, tomato and cucumber salad with dill maybe? Apple spice or carrot cake with cream cheese frosting sounds pretty awesome right now.
lynn
You all are great. Thanks. Lemon bars and Texas sheet cake for dessert choices and simple green salad and brocoli salad sound perfect. I usually just get the banana pudding the bbq place sells when it's just family but wanted something more for a women's gather.

Erica in OR
Another vote for coleslaw. Someone told me about using as a topping on pulled pork sandwiches and now I love them that way. Erica in OR
Guest
It wouldn't be bbq here without coleslaw.
FriedClams
Corn salad and banana pudding Is there anything else??
Runningmom80
I was going to say a mexican type corn salad. One with cilantro and jalepeno peppers!
Cinder
We just had bbq from our favorite place last night. We usually get mac-n-cheese (real, homemade, not from a box, heavenly!), cole slaw, brunswick stew and green beans for the sides. Rolls for those who want sandwiches. Gotta have cole slaw on that sandwich--learned about this in AR and now think it's the only way to eat bbq sandwiches. Desserts . . . fried pies? I like banana pudding and lemon bars. I once had banana pudding made with a graham cracker crust--like you'd make for cheesecake--and it was so yummy. Key lime pie!
Parrothead
Cole slaw and Brunswick stew. Oh, and rice. How could I forget the rice?
OhanaBee
It wouldn't be bbq here without coleslaw. I was just going to ask how in the world you could have bbq without the coleslaw!?
