Um_2_4 Posted July 30, 2013 Share Posted July 30, 2013 Well, at my 16 week u/s for the twins (they couldn't find heartbeat of 1 in the office, she was hiding) they said they were both boys (she was 75% sure at that stage)...guess what she was 1/2 wrong LOL. Tap Posted July 30, 2013 Share Posted July 30, 2013 From what I remember gender differences don't really start to show up visually until they are 14 weeks. All babies have a bump or nub at the genital area around this time, but it looks the same in both boys and girls. By 17+ weeks or so, most sonographers can fairly accurately tell the gender.
