Michelle My Bell
Have you seen this news story about the cleaning fairy? http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/05/31/susan-warren-cleaning-fairy-broke-into-home-cleaned-ohio_n_1559477.html
Mandylubug
ha ha. My Aunt and Cousin, when I first got married stopped by one day and then locked me in my bedroom with my newborn while they scrubbed my house. It was the nicest gift anyone could have given me... but they would have never left a bill LOL
melissad2
I wish the real cleaning fairy would pay me a visit ;)
fraidycat
:001_huh: Apparently she's never heard of advertising? She's going to be really desperate for money now that she has to pay all those legal bills. I'd like a cleaning fairly, but not one who breaks in...or charges me for it! Guest
I've thought about doing that as a volunteer service for people who had babies, surgery, whatever. I thought I'd call it "Hearts at Home" or something like that and just clean (for free) the house of the needy person.
Truscifi
:001_huh: She left a bill.
Kirch
:001_huh: Some people... I just don't get how anyone would come to the conclusion that this was a good idea!
cin
But really, if someone broke into my house and CLEANED IT. I'd THANK them!
thescrappyhomeschooler
This is very close to where I live. Why didn't she stop here? I might have even paid her.
Farrar
But she left a bill. I just... I mean... that's so weird. It would be weird anyway, but the fact that she expected money is just completely insane.
happymomofboys
Having people I don't know very well come to visit is enough to send my anxiety spiraling out of control. I once hired a cleaning service while my husband was deployed. It worked, but only because I had to clean my entire house prior to them coming to keep from completely freaking out. I think coming home to find someone had been in my house and touching my things, even if they did an awesome job cleaning, would put me in the hospital. houseofkids&pets
Wow. The homeowner's daughter was asleep upstairs? I am glad it was only a cleaning lady that decided to "break in". That is kind of frightening. However, I wouldn't mind a cleaning fairy coming to visit us. Our house looks like the Tornado Fairy stopped by :tongue_smilie:.
