kokotg
We're moving this weekend, so I'm packing furiously (and can do this faster when kids don't help!) I need a good, at least vaguely educational, Netflix suggestion. Kids are 6, 8, and 10. Any subject is fine. Ideas?
WistfulRidge
DH and I recently enjoyed a documentary series on natural disasters called "Raging Planet". They also have a ton of Mythbusters... around here that is always a hit. My toddler loves Mythbusters.

ktgrok
The "World's deadliest" series is fun..all about different dangerous animals around the globe. I think they have a different episode for each area of the planet.
Acorn
We are enjoying Wild China. It is a 6 hour series.
kokotg
Thanks, guys--keep 'em coming! I forgot about Mythbusters...good call! They watched something about Mt. Everest today, but I have two more "school" days before we move, so I'm putting some of the other suggestions in my queue!

asmall
Not a documentary, but my kids loved Liberty Kids. Some else told us about Beakman's World and that has been fun for the kids. My kids also love Redwall. AL
melissel
We enjoyed Wild China immensely. I lovelovelove the actor who's the narrator, and his voice is just so soothing! We also recently watched some of Walking with Monsters and Walking with Cavemen, and those were fun (as long as you're into evolution). Kelly1730
:bigear: I'm taking notes; we have several days to make our 180 but most of the curriculum is over (or we want it to be over;)). An educational documentary should fit the bill nicely.
