wapiti
lots of it :glare: Wall is textured. Magic eraser isn't particularly effective except for spreading the blue around. Any ideas? :bigear: :tongue_smilie:

Mrs Mungo
Alcohol....rubbing alcohol to remove the sharpie, THEN maybe wine for you. ;)

West Coast Mom
I've been there before. Toothpaste (regular, not gel) and a damp cloth always worked for me.
QuirkyKapers
Ok- so I just put a couch in front of the wall of writing and dealt with it well...just this past year! So, that is another way of dealing....:D
wapiti
I'm taking some paint off, but I don't think I could possibly make it worse. I think this job can wait until after lunch. At least dh is out of town, lol. eta, it's pretty much right in the middle of the kitchen/family room area, though recently I thought about moving the bookcase over there. I'll try toothpaste, though last time I had this problem on another wall, it didn't work on this paint. Come to think of it, the sharpie is still there - maybe I'll try alcohol. Cuz I had nothing better to do today. The offender has washable marker on her face. I have no clue how she got the sharpie. She's also suddenly half-naked. Alte Veste Academy
I've had the greatest success with touch-up paint. Foolproof, really.
MindyD
Time to repaint the walls? That was our final solution. Everything else took off some of the paint around the marker and we were still left with lighter sharpie lines.
SJ.
If the wall isn't too porous try going over the sharpie with a dry erase marker.

happyWImom
I've not used it on Sharpie, but we use hydrogen peroxide on any stain, and it is like a miracle!
