Audrey
... not a tenderloin, but the one that would be boneless chops if you sliced it. I don't want to do a curry seasoning, but I do want something a bit zippy and very flavourful. I still have time to marinate it for a couple of hours, if that's suggested. I just need some ideas. Please? :bigear:
SweetPea
I like this: 1/4 cup dijon 1/4 tsp. garlic powder 1/4 tsp fresh ground pepper Combine and rub all over the meat. You don't need to marinade just put on before popping in the oven.
CalicoKat
One suggestion: Throw it in the crockpot with the following ingredients 1/2 cup white wine Garlic cloves (I put in a few. Depends on how garlicky you want it. :D) 1/2 cup soy sauce High or low temp depending on when it needs to be done. It's got an Asian flavor. LaxMom
Cumin, honey and lemon/lime juice? A dry rub like you'd use on ribs? Chinese five spice powder? (I seem to remember doing something with this on a pork roast, but can't remember what. It went with green beans sauteed in coconut oil and drizzled with some toasted sesame oil)
BatmansWife
This. I'm serious. You have GOT to try it. I made this (a huge batch) for dd's graduation party and it was a huge hit. People were raving about it. It's really, really good. Don't let the "secret ingredient" turn you off to it. :001_smile: I decided to go for it and I'm so glad I did. ETA: I didn't use tenderloin either, but it still worked out just fine.
Natalieclare
I am with the pp who posted a recipe using dijon. I don't use a recipe, I just eyeball a combination of dijon, massive quantities of garlic, and some rosemary. Soooooo good!
Chris in VA
For next time-- I just posted this a few days ago but here it is again-- Good with beef or pork--I used London Broil last time (about 2 lb roast) In crock pot--Mix one can cream of mushroom soup, .5 can of water, and a packet of onion soup mix. Add roast, turn to coat. Cook on high 5 hours or low about 8 hours. Breaks apart--so tender and yummy, and you can use the liquid as gravy on mashies! mmmmm. AlmiraGulch
I had the same type of meat and today I'm making it in the slow cooker. I threw them in and added a mixture of: 1/4 cup soy sauce 1/3 or so cup ketchup 1/4 cup brown sugar 3 crushed garlic cloves squeeze of honey 1 teaspoon ginger A little chili sauce pepper to taste (I didn't salt because of the soy sauce) I got the recipe from (I think) allrecipes.com but I've never made it until today. I'll be serving the sauce over white rice and having some broccoli on the side.

HollyDay
Mix 1 can cranberries with ginger (either candied, dried, or fresh) to taste and pour over roast. You can add sliced lemons or sliced apples too if you want. If you want more liquid, add apple juice
