brasilmom
Hi all, My trips are getting ridiculously heavy. My bag cannot fit all that I want to bring home and it is not taking the beating either. So, I am considering maybe a collapsible cart of sorts. Anyone here has a good, creative, and cheap idea to share? Thanks.Be well Miriam
Ginevra
I use a foldable cart that I bought at office depot. Works perfectly. I can't even believe I ever used tote bags.

swellmomma
I have a little trolley cart thing I use. I have to buy a new one each year because I wear them out every year but they are fabulous for carrying books home from the library. At home I keep it parked by the front door and as we finish with library materials we pop them back in the bag to be returned.
bettyandbob
my mil uses a rolling suitcase. She's not a homeschooler. Yet she is at the library every other week checking 20 + books.

They're so easy to find inexpensively, and are perfect to hoist into the car as-is (without unpacking, then re-packing at my destination). Baseball mom
Several years ago my mom bought me something that is between a rolling cart and a rolling suitcase. Somehow it got put in a back closet. I found it the other day and pulled it out. I think it will be going to the library with me now :D

Same here. It is not incredibly sturdy, but it will last long enough to be worth the price. Target had some cool colors before school started back...but they wold out before I made it to buy one:glare:
swellmomma
This is similar to mine only I buy mine from my grocery store for $8. Trolley bag
Maus
I use a folding crate paired with a luggage cart to haul gear to and from co-op, and I have a milk crate to pair with the cart for cub scouts. Just the other day, it occurred to me it would make the library easier to take a crate there. Up til now, I've been carrying the baby and filling her stroller with books! :D Silly me! thescrappyhomeschooler
I bought one of these. Love it. Not too big, but it does the trick. I put a big shopping bag in it, too.
KungFuPanda
Another rolling crate family here. I get more compliments on that thing when we roam the library. I think I bought it at an office store. I need to get another one for co-op because I find myself bringing in more and more things :glare:
brasilmom
Thank you all for the ideas. Sure some nice items. Too bad the nice looking carts seems to be available only in the UK and Australia. Nonetheless, I have got some good ideas to go with. Be well.
