GoVanGogh
I don't know. My DS just ran off with his new school books. But they were are on cartooning and making animated films, so not as exciting as math or grammar, you know.
texasmama
My kids love it. Sorry.:D
MrsMe
No, you're not the only one. DD is just starting to get excited about some read-alouds that come. I know she secretly likes some of them, because she's pre-read them in secret and re-read them after we used them. So she tells me she hates it and the box day does nothing for her, not like Mom of course, but in secret, I wonder.
Dobela
My son wishes all things school would just disappear and never return. Just a few days ago he asked how he could get school outlawed.

kolamum
Mine don't groan.. BUT, it's a package in the mail and we live overseas and it comes via family so there's usually gifts tucked inside. ;)
iona
My oldest has stopped guessing at what is in the amazon boxes. He now says, "more books?"
soonermomma
My girls got super excited when our boxes arrived, however, we just started homeschooling in November so the new hasn't worn off just yet!!!
Homemama2
Well, my oldest just got a pocket knife for his bday... so for the first time he's been excited to get the boxes b/c he gets to open them for me. (No interest in the books, though :glare:)
Aquinas Academy
Well, my oldest just got a pocket knife for his bday...so for the first time he's been excited to get the boxes b/c he gets to open them for me. (No interest in the books, though :glare:) My 9, 7, and 5 year olds are exactly the same. It's so much fun to open a box and you can do all sorts of exciting stuff with a box. They have a massive collection of box castles, airplanes, dinosaurs, etc. What actually comes in the box isn't of much interest.
