  1. Does anyone happen to know how many lessons there are in A Reason For Handwriting Cursive C? I can't find anywhere online that tells how many weeks worth of lessons are in the workbook. Thanks, Kristi
  2. I use the shout advanced gel with scrubber and then throw them in the washing machine with a cascade dishwasher tablet. Leave the lid up and let soak overnight. If there happens to be any stain left I spot bleach it with a medicine syringe and wash again! I LOVE the way white softball pants look!!!
  3. We hired a private investigator to help with finding my husbands bio family. You have a lot of good info to start with!
  4. My daughters will be in 3rd and 5th grade in the fall. I'm trying to figure out what we are going to do for their reading next school year. Neither of them like to read for fun, and I have a hard time getting them to read anything that challanges them. Is there an actual reading curriculum besides Rod and Staff that has a reader that they do their daily reading out of with the option of workbooks that ask questions about what they read? This year we tried just checking out library books, and not having any curriculum or reader to follow and it just didn't work out great. Any suggestions are welcome! I love to read, and I hope they will eventually love to read. ``
  5. This is what I was for! I like all of these ingredients. The only one I have never had is almond milk, but I can't imagine I wouldn't like it. Do you think there would be a big difference between using almond milk and skim milk?
  6. I'm getting ready to restart my weight loss journey. I will be back in the gym and eating much healthier than I have in the last several years. I'm not a big breakfast person an would prefer some sort of protein shake in the morning to get me going, rather than eating a meal. What is the best or most healthy protein shake to have for breakfast? Thanks!
  7. DH and I just got it last night and are addicted!
  8. Both of my dd's are using this and they love it! One is 2nd grade, one is fourth grade. We used Rod and Staff for two years before and it's a great program, but they couldn't seem to take instruction and then work on it themselves. It was VERY teacher intensive for us. Like I had to sit and read every single question word for word to them even though they could read.
  9. I have never done copy work with my children, but I want to start. Where do you find age appropriate copy work for you children? What else do I need to know before I start?
  10. We buy all of my 10 yo dd's bras at JCPenney. They are cotton and stretchy, but they work. They are the only kind she likes and will wear!
  11. My doctor does not let you go past 37 weeks with twins. Mine were born at 33weeks. My water broke (baby A only) at 32 weeks and they kept me on hospital bed rest for a week before we delivered them. They each weighted 4lbs 8oz. One born completely natural and one born emergency c section. One spent 7 days in the NICU, the other spent 16 days in the NICU.
  12. They look enough alike that I would definitely test. Mine are boy/girl so there was never any doubt. Had they been same sex and there was any question at all, I would definitely test, just because I would want to know!
  13. reposted...accidentally posted on the general board the first time! Our twins turned four in December and are interested in learning, so I would like to start an actual preschool curriculum. I do not want it to be a lot of work to put together. I want a lot of reading, introducing letters, numbers, writing, etc. What was your favorite preschool curriculum? Do you have an opinion about Before Five in a Row or My Fathers World? I'm open to any of them, these are just some I know of, but don't know a lot about. Thanks!
