texasmama Posted February 1, 2011 Share Posted February 1, 2011 Well, I am in the DFW area, too so right there with ya. ;) Missed both of my jobs today due to weather and have taken advantage of the time to spring ahead with homeschooling. No snow days for us. :D (Yes, I let the kids go outside and play for a bit, but there was not too much snow and they got wet and cold quickly...) All 3 kiddos played out in the snow for a bit while dh shoveled the driveway and porch. We did get some school done just in case they have co-op on Thursday. My brother lives in Princeton and my dds in GA they are both having cold weather but the high here today was 55. We are having some rain but it is not even icy. It is supposed to be colder tomorrow but no rain so it is unlikely that we will have any bad winter weather. There have been several times over the last two years that both my brother and my dds have had freezing weather and/or snow and it has been positively balmy here.
