I use it sometimes. I have Lancome currently, and everything about it bothers me. I don't like the coverage, I don't like the color, I don't like how it doesn't last.

:bigear: Me too, I used Prescriptives for YEARS. Unfortunately not many others did, and now the product line has been discontinued. :glare:

Have you ever tried Bare Minerals?

 

It covers so well without looking thick. They have a pretty good selection of colors.

 

Maybe they have a store near you where you could try it.

I like Maballeine's Dream Mousse. You can barely feel it on your skin and you can layer it for more coverage without too much build up.

:iagree: I can't begin to tell you how often people comment on my skin. I always thank them, but I know it's the Bare Escentials that has them fooled!

I like Mac's Studio Fix in a compact. It's got good coverage (with a kabuki brush) but doesn't feel heavy. I get mine at Nordstrom, but if you don't have one near you, I think Sephora carries Mac, too.

I like to use a light, tinted moisturizer for a base and then loose mineral foundation on top.

 

I use Paula's Choice tinted moisturizer and Physician's Formula loose minerals after the moisturizer absorbs (not long). It's a good coverage combo and definitely not too heavy.

I really like Clinique's Active-something (can't remember exact name). I also have a "vascular" look, and oily in T-zone. When I wear this foundation, it feels like I'm not wearing anything, which is important to me. Even the powder they carry covers up my redness.

Do you have a Sephora? Their salespeople are hit or miss, but they have lots of products you can try. They have makeup remover and everything, so you could try several things.

I used Lancome for years too. It wasn't cutting it for my breakouts, and later markings on my face due to Lupus.

 

Lucky for me, I was turned on to Cover FX over at Nordstroms. I love it!

Between this and my face wash, my skin looks better than it ever has (even with Lupus and approaching 40).

I have fair skin and don't do pink tones either. Two of my absolute favorites are:

 

Loreal Bare Naturale Gentle Mineral Makeup in light ivory.

 

*I often used Physician's Formula Bronzing Beads to add a little color* :)

 

The Supernatural - Philosophy Airbrushed Canvas (Sephora) in natural (this one has a sponge applicator that takes getting used to, but it covers beautifully)

 

Both has SPF coverage too.

Dior Flash is awesome, doesnt settle, if you have that problem. expensive but worth it.
